The Shop Srq, started at 2043 Bahia Vista St, in 2004 when Erick & Dawn bought the existing Shop from Joe Humphrey former and original owner for 47 years! Erick & Dawn mastered the art of Tonsorial Artistry (barbering). When you walk in you feel the hometown southern hospitality and never feel like a stranger. We have toys, puzzles, books, chalk board & yes XBOX 1 for the kids & big kids! At the Shop Srq we believe in quality not just quantity and we go above and beyond for our clients.Together we aim to provide you with the BEST haircuts in the Sarasota, Gulf Gate, Palmer ranch & Siesta Key area! Nice people. Great cut. I believe I have a new barbershop. - edited - I have now sent my wife. She is tired of the crappy cuts from the other places. She agrees with me. Get here, get a patriotic covering, get coifed with a sensible cut as one learns the new neighborhood goings on. Get charged a moderate cost, get on the road. 
CLOSED MONDAYS I found out this week. They have to have *some* time off for family. :^D

This is the only place I go anymore. I discovered Dawn and Erik through my recruiter while they were on Bahia Vista. When I would take leave to come home, this is where I'd get my haircut before going back to base. I still continue to see them because they're great, honest people that give excellent haircuts. Almost always have an interesting/funny convo topic, too!
