Great scenery when the lake has water. You should be happy if you are here!

I usually don't frequent to this location, but my nieces were having a birthday party and considering that they are the only nieces I have, I had to attend.

Everything was amazing here but it was Summer and Texas, so Hot!

Other than that we had all the activities on the lake that we wanted to do and I went back to the swimming pool to relax.

Definitely  a good spot!

This little enclave is a great place to get away for a long weekend (or longer). The lake is, of course, accessible for those who love boating and water activities, but the biggest draw for us is that it's quiet and tucked away. We take a bunch of books, some corn for the deer (who eat out of your hand), and just enjoy the peace and quiet. The units are older and haven't been updated much, but the staff are friendly, and there's a nice pool and lounge with a game room for those days the kids get antsy. Overall, a great place tucked away in Lago Vista.

So peaceful, quiet, perfect. Felt like home. Was able to purchase deer feed from the guest service desk and feed the deer. Everything was within walking distance very close and convenient. Friendly staff. Except for one maintience man when we asked about if the other room we were getting was available he was rude. We were in room 3015 it had a great view and comfy. Bathrooms were a little small but great for our small family. Great wildlife. Beautiful beautiful beautiful. Can not wait to come back. And plan to hopefully by the end of summer!!!

A great, relaxing vacation for couple and families. With a pool, shuffleboard, and plenty of deer to hand-feed, you'll enjoy your time. The condos are rustic but comfortable.

Thank you Mr. White for resolving my issue and explaining the cause of it. But thank you much more for making it right. I've had family stay here and my friends also but this is MY first visit. My family and I have been taking advantage of all the great activities there are to offer here and in the area.We found our unit comfortable and welcoming. We rented a kayak and a paddle board today from AQUA VISTA SPORTS. Their onsite location was convenient to book and meant we could walk there from our unit. No doubt, we'll be back to spend some time at The Shores.
