The environment of this pizza place is so unique. It also feels like the right amount of fancy. The pizza was really good and the garlic knots were even better. I also love that when you order water they bring you a whole bottle with cups to split and refill as needed. The server was incredibly kind and patient. They also have a window that you can order just a slice from them while you enjoy your nice stroll in the heart of Simpsonville
Came in on a Saturday night around 6.3/24. They told us it was an hour wait. We wanted to give them a try because of all the good reviews, so we waited. It was only like 20 minutes, and we got a text saying a table was available. The chairs at the high top tables are so comfortable. The service was excellent. The food comes out quick. It's the best pizza I've had in Simpsonville. The garlic knots are pretty slamming, too. For a family of four, our bill was just over $100. If in the area, it is worth trying out. You shouldn't be disappointed in it.
Came in for lunch today and I already want to go back. My husband and I shared a cheese pie and it was absolutely amazing. The crust was a perfect mix of crispy and fluffy. The sauce is on the sweeter side but had a great flavor. Our server, Susana, was outstanding. She was so happy and welcoming. We had some left overs and our son devoured them for dinner. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!
The Slice was phenomenal. I've tried their meatball sandwich before which was fabulous and tonight we tried the pizza, garlic knots and cannoli. We had the bianca with sausage and pepperoni added. The crust was perfectly soft yet crispy to perfection, and I loved the sauce. The knots are killer! My cannolo shell was fresh, crisp, flakey and flavorful, and the ricotta was sweet and thick & creamy. Sooo good! I just wish I lived closer!
We had a great time! The food was delicious. My son said it was the best meatball sub he's ever had! The bartender, who is the owners wife, was great. We loved our drinks and she was very friendly. The staff is very friendly and we will be back!Food: 5/5
I'm a Jersey girl pizza snob and yeah, there are some decent pizza places in Greenville. This isn't one of them. This place is easily the BEST pizza I've had in the Upstate. The flavors and textures are all there. It's delicious. The staff are really friendly also. I'll definitely be going back! Vegetarian options: Pizza and salad options sans meat are available.
The Slice is an excellent establishment that offers a variety of delicious pizzas and other dishes. I have had the pleasure of ordering from this location on multiple occasions, and each time, I have been thoroughly impressed with the quality and consistency of the food. Their garlic rolls are generously sized and incredibly flavorful, while their cheese pizza is always cooked to perfection with a delectable undercarriage. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a satisfying dining experience.
Great place! I'd compare it to one of the better pizza place on Long Island! The owners from NY got it right. Delicious pizza & highly recommended the garlic knots. Our server Amanda was quick & friendly. Will definitely be back!Food: 5/5
We had lunch at The Slice, having previously driven by on a Staurday evening to find a multitude in the place. Well, we came back on a Thursday, and what a pleasant experience awaited us! MY wife and I share a 6" Tutto pizza - ground sausage, pepperoni, red peppers, black olives, onions, and mushrooms. It was fresh and the onions provided the needed texture and crunch. My wife wanted to try their pasta so she also ordered a child's portion spaghetti with a meatball. The past was NOT store bought but made in house and you can tell the difference! The sauce was piquant, light, with a touch of sweetness. And the crust was think with some burnt edges, which we happen to crave. We will order pizza purposely well done to get that kind of taste! Our wait person was Susana - very effusive, charming, attentive, and gracious. We could tell it wasn't just a job for her. Make The Slice a priority and get over there and have a slice of fun and good taste!
The slice never disappoints! The owner is so accommodating, even though we were told it would be an hour wait, 30 minutes into the wait he offered to buy us a round of drinks because we had to wait. He also kept us posted on our wait status the entire time we waited. The pizza is amazing, our kids always enjoy the kids menu, and so far we’ve never been disappointed by any of the appetizers we’ve tried. By far the best pizza we’ve had since moving from NY.
