So I have mixed feelings about this place. Went on a weekday evening, and I do like the neighborhood sports bar atmosphere. It was right when the bartender was getting off her shift, so I had a chance to be served by 2. Really like the first one too bad her shift ends before night kicks in but the 2nd bartender didn't give us any attention when there were only 5 ish people at the bar. But for drinking ok tap beer and watching sports with others, it does the job. Then there's the food. Absolutely horrible. It seems that the food is served by a different "restaurant". Two separate checks for the bar and food, and different servers bartender for bar drinks and server for food. We had their 20pc chicken wings with 2 different sauces, and the sauces didn't matter; the chicken wings were the driest wings I've ever tasted. Fries were also super soggy. We left more than half of the food, and when we didn't ask for the box, the server asked why and we told her that wings are really dry. She said she would tell the chef but not sure if one feedback would really change the food much. We ended up with $90+ total for 2 beers, chicken wings, and fries. I wouldn't go back for the food but maybe for drinks when there's a game night.
I love going here to eat on my cheat days. The jerk chicken chilli cheese fries were other worldly.Food: 5/5
We came here for drinks and to watch a football match. The atmosphere of the bar was great and the staff were very kind and helpful. The drinks were perfect and would return here in a heartbeat. Couldn’t recommend this place more!
Poor choice of craft beers ...food so-so and definitely is overpriced for the quality offered. hamburger was boring AF meatballs were undercooked/almost raw centers but I rather enjoined it..still not.worth $12....maybe $8 suggestions: get good craft beers... just look across the street Milk-and-hops or UNTAPPD app Reduce sides for $7 to $5 Reduced prices with $3-4 or increase.QUALITY to match prices ....or go BANKRUPT P.S. Forgot to mentioned that the cloth napkins were smelling of burnt cooking oil... definitely needing more detergent and/or bleach
The chickpea sandwich was good and the beets we're good as well. Others ordered the chicken out pie and fish and chips and said they're delicious as well. Everything seemed clean and sanitary. The service was nice. We had a large group and they accommodated is no problem.
I had mixed feelings due to some misleading early info by the day person . This individual seemed too preoccupied with discrediting their coworkers. I have to say Susan was a complete contradiction to what we heard. She was so friendly and welcoming to my party that I not only made sure to come back but also had my 56th birthday party. The place is what seems your typical dive bar but my whole party was made feel special by the bartenders remembering our names and from the moment we walked in the owner Rob was there to assist. I don’t make reviews often but this birthday was made so special by such a friendly bar and its workers on the ues. Thank you Rob, Susan and the bar back Jesus. I can’t say enough about how you made us feel.
A down to earth vibe with pool, darts and games. Killer sound system. Shoutout to Rob for the hospitality and being cool with some heavy tunes on the jukebox and salute to Susanne, her amazing hair and mixology!
Angie is simply marvelous! Best watering hole in the area.Food: 5/5
One of the best, calm, fun bars on the upper east side. We stumbled upon this place and always have such a great time. Susan, the bartender is another reason why we come here. She is always so sweet and conversational. This place is a hidden gem. We had a birthday party here and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves controlling the touch tunes. The pool table, darts and other games are so fun. Great seating. I wouldn't even review a bar, but this place is worth it!
I've been coming here for almost 2 years since it's been under new management. It has the best mix of people in the upper east side. An eclectic mix of sociable and approachable patrons which is hard to find here! The food is amazing too!Food: 5/5
