The rooms are very spacious and well kept! Nothing like waking up to nature in the morning. That's a plus for me. Also the St. Lawrence river is walking distance.

The rooms are incredibly well kept, tidy, and spacious. The St. Lawrence river is only a few steps away and there are countless of activities in the surrounding area. The Stonefence Resort truly is a home away from home!!

Old, Hugh rooms, need a good cleaning all around like there was poop on there dock...what was with that. Staff was nice.

Picked the place as we needed something close for a graduation party for a friend.  We live out of town so looked at the reviews and thought "this is perfect".  
The place is anything but!!  Room was big but was very stuffy and took forever for the wall unit air to work. Spider webs and I am guessing  termite dirt hills on the bathroom floor.  Which maid left when she cleaned the room while we were here.
Outside seating was also covered in spider webs and dirty.  Very dusty like no one stayed in the room for a bit.  
Free breakfast! The room has no air conditioning  and the patio outside not covered. So choice was to be hot and sticky or be in the sun. Food was ok but nothing special at all.   Plus bar area  had a mound of chairs piled high! Decided to go for a swim, surprise pool is closed!  It's the end of June, really closed? 
Ok I will go to the fitness room to work out a little since I can't swim.  Nope! That was full of old TV's, couches and end tables thrown into s big heap!  The screened in gazabio was also having stuff done inside.  
Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.  Will continue to look at other hotels for our fall family trip back to this area.
