This was a wonderful little place. I had the traditional bagel sandwich with a hazelnut latte and ordered a chicken salad sandwich to go (for lunch). Everything was wonderful! I wish I had time to try one of the tasty-looking bakery items.

I called and the phone rang for 1 min, they must be busy. I called back in 15 min and was hung up on. Called back, and one of the assistant managers answered, it was a very unpleasant conversation. I asked if they had an Artisan Rye Breed. She told me that they never had that type of bread. Though I have purchased it there. She said they do get a shipment of sliced rye bread in. Since that bread after each purchase has been dry, I declined. I can get that bread at Walmart cheaper than $5.00. This bakery used to be my favorite which is no longer the case.

I chose the place for atmosphere and comfy seating and it did not dissappoint. It was also pretty busy and the staff were very good. I was really surprised that my coffee was not good! I bought a "bottomless cup" but never got it refilled. Maybe it was a fluke.

It’s no mistake that The SweetSpot manages two different locations in a township of just under 10,000. The place is a local staple, especially amongst the womenfolk. They have a full, and I do mean FULL menu, complete with coffees and drinks, deserts and baked goods, breakfast items, and gourmet sandwiches and soups. They also have ample seating and free WiFi, making this a very popular, and fairly cozy studying spot. Finally, the service is acceptable and the prices are fairly average for an upscale coffee shop.

The iced coffee and breakfast sandwich was delicious. It’s a great place for working on a laptop or reading the paper. Even though we entered by climbing stairs, I was happy to see that there was an accessible entrance available as well. I look forward to returning for another iced coffee and something on the lunch menu.
