Great swimming pool for training in and it also had a kids splash area as well. Fully equipped and large hymn. Spinning class and yoga studio. Good size changing room and showers. Family friendly? Certainly.

It's a great spot for swimming and working out. It's a little expensive, $20 for adults, even if they don't swim and $14 for kids. But if you spend some hours there it's a good time. Waterslide, diving board and wading pool all offer some unique feels for a small Vermont town.

I was visiting Stowe and went to The Swimming Hole. The front desk person was more then unpleasant and could've been a lot more upbeat and not so blah. There were little bugs in their and I got bit several times, I think more cleanliness must be present in their facilities.

Closest equivalent to a YMCA in Stowe, housed in a beautiful facility made to look like a barn, complete with silo. Water slide for the kids, great pool for laps. Ergs, treadmills and elliptical machines all with a view of the pool. Day passes available. Tip: if you're in town for a while or are a frequent visitor, buy a discounted book of passes. They don't expire.

Best swimming pool and gym around. The amount of equipment covers most of anyone needs form beginner to advance. The pool area is great for laps or bringing the kids with a water slide, diving board, water basketball etc.
