Great atmosphere and beautiful view of Lake Michigan. The food is amazing southern home-style  cooking.  Yo can really taste the hickory smoked flavor. No sauce needed but the mustard sauce is my favorite!

The food here was alright. And I mean in the sense that we left with a full belly. The waitress, I'm assuming their main waitress, was absolutely terrible! She brought us our food and then ignored us. Asked every table around us if they needed something, but not us. Didn't explain any of the sauces to us, didn't check in, nothing. If it weren't for the cook coming over and asking us how we were doing, we would have never gotten out of there. He seemed like a good guy and his food was decent, but she was the reason for the 1 star. Otherwise 3 would've been fair. Can't say I'll ever eat here again. 

...Update... Look. Of course you have no record of my name... Look at it... Really? How serious are you? I hope you didn't search for it.The food was decent... Not great. Decent. But the service was awful. Like I said, I think the cook, perhaps you (?), sensed something was wrong and came to check on us. I initially gave her the benefit of the doubt saying "well she might be new at this" considering it was a newer joint, but for some reason we were ignored the entire time and sat there idly, patiently for fifteen minutes after we'd finished. No refills, nothing. We'd done nothing wrong or rude. We showered that day... Pretty sure we did. Yet she helped every single table around us. Not sure if it's your wife, but she's the reason for the one star. Sorry bud.
