We are the little sister location of The Table Farmhouse Bakery in Asheboro, NC. We offer coffee, bakery items, grab-n-go lunch, & local artisan items.
"Tucked away in a quaint, brick alleyway off of the hustle and bustle of Elm Street in downtown Greensboro, you will find the lovely, Paris-blue door of The Table on Elm."
Owner and Founder of the original Table Farmhouse Bakery in Asheboro (est. 2013), NC, Dustie Gregson, saw the need for more ovens. "We outgrew our baking area with our three years of booming business. Our whole kitchen in Asheboro was using just two ovens for all of our breads and pastries. Opening up this 'Little Sister' location is giving our Head Baker Jill and Baker Horst the opportunity to expand their craft and serve the community with greater capacity."
Fans of The Table's homey, country aesthetic will find the comforting, signature cotton and linen decor, the rustic busts of beloved farm animals and one-of-a-kind sheep art work (by Dustie's sister Sarah Helser Gibson) inspiring, as always.
The MARKETPLACE is a stunning floor-to-ceiling display of housewares and other goodies, including ceramics, local honey, coffee mugs, chocolate bars, olive oil, woven baskets, hand soap, glass containers, mason jars, jugs, table cloths, Big Spoon peanut butter, plates, Lov teas and so much more.
Bread loaf variety and availability in The BAKERY vary daily: French Country Sourdough, Cinnamon Raison, Cranberry Walnut, Olive Oil & Sea Salt Sourdough, Cubano, etc. Day-old loaves are 50% off.
Sweet treats and desserts are abundant and also vary day-by-day. Try out the lemon tarts, lemon ricotta cheesecake, ricotta panna cotta, pear tart, amaretti torte, chocolate eclairs, biscotti, granola. The housemade ricotta is out-of-this-world!
The chalkboard ESPRESSO menu has all of your favorite coffee treats: doppio, macchiato, cortado, cappacino, latte, americano, and of course the famous SWEET BABY BROWN. Says the smiling, friendly neighborhood Barista Justin, "We're so thankful to the Greensboro community's support in enthusiastically already welcoming us here and supporting us."
