The Turquoise Room La Posada Route 66 Winslow, Arizona When we visit Winslow, Arizona, there is always one place we manage to dine at. This restaurant is located in a beautiful and historic hotel, La Posada The Turquoise Room is a beautiful restaurant with beautiful rugs and artwork on its walls. We always have a great experience here with delicious food and excellent service. The staff members are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu items. The level of service is excellent. On one occasion, which was during the Thanksgiving of 2023, they were able to reserve a seat for us for dinner. The food is always delicious and prepared perfectly, and the plating is always beautiful. We gave dined here during breakfast, lunch, and dinner and always have a wonderful experience. Overall, all of our experiences have been wonderful, and I look forward to dining with them when we return to Winslow, Arizona
Made a breakfast reservation with a request for a window table. Don't be in a hurry, allow plenty of time. Service and food were wonderful. Worth going to just to check out La Posada. what a wonderful and unique place. I had the chorizo hash while my daughter had the benedict style bruschetta. We shared a fresh fruit bowl.
Great food, service and drinks! Every time we visit AZ we make sure to eat here. Love their sweet corn and black bean soup. Had wonderful Southwestern chicken dish. My wife had a heavenly pork dish. All served in the historic La Posada Hotel.Food: 5/5
Top notch experience. Just an amazing story that this American treasure of a building was saved from destruction. Do yourself a favor and get to the restaurant early to walk through the lobby, art gallery on the second floor, and the shop. The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere and the food and service was excellent. I cannot wait to come back again soon.
Had a very enjoyable dinner. The salmon in corn husk was delicious and the ambience was perfect for a relaxing meal. Tips: - Get a view by the windows to watch the trains going by - Best to go for dinner - Reservations are required - Spend time to see the beautiful hotel and artwork throughout
I went to the Turquoise Room a couple times last week as part of my Amtrak experience, and I was blown away! One hardly expects a fine restaurant of this quality in a small town in the middle of the Arizona desert. But the La Posada itself is quite impressive, especially on a cold and cozy night! What a marvelous Amtrak train stop this is! Highest recommendation: Chile green eggs breakfast with polenta and tortillas on the side = $15. The other photo is the prime rib $45.
Our Friday evening visit was fantastic! Service: great and speedy too. Restaurant was clean and full of history. Take some time and look around the lobby. I was astonished at the connection to the railroad. Please consider a visit here
The restaurant is in the La Posada Hotel. One of the few fine dining places to eat at in Winslow, AZ. Service was great. We stayed at the hotel so it was very convenient place to eat. Though it is run and operated separate from the hotel. So you cannot charge your Meal's to your room. Food was pretty good. A bit overpriced for what it is, bit it gas great atmosphere. We had breakfast and dinner there. Dinner reservations are required.
Gotta say, we've lived in Arizona for 30 years. The Turquoise Room is one of the BEST RESTAURANT experiences in the state. It's WORTH the trip, whether you're coming from Flagstaff, Phoenix, or the White Mountains. Food is always a masterpiece; the European style service is "no-rush", but also very professional and responsive. The "OLD SOUTHWEST" architecture of the hotel and train station makes for a TOTAL CHARM atmosphere.
All flavors were rich, imaginative, and worked well together. Everything was so fresh and the depth of flavor was unmatched. We also loved Stephen, he was very attentive and friendly. If you’re a vegetarian, highly recommend s the vegetarian plate, was very beautiful and flavorful. 10/10 recommendFood: 5/5
