Place is great to relax! Nature always calms the body.. Its a natural instinct for us as humans and the way our body reacts to nature is natural and it calms the human brain. I can be really mad or depressed and when I see beautiful art that's created itself naturally.. I instantly feel calm and relaxed. This place will definitely do this. Its cozy and not too crowded or overloaded for the ones who don't do well for crowds. You pass through tunnels of rock that's been cut for a trail.. The feeling is like a cool cave. If its hot the trail is covered most way for shelter. Amazing! Go check it out l.. Its totally worth it!!

For the bicycle enthusiasts, the trail provides easy to moderate exercise in a beautiful setting.  The trail was constructed on a narrow guage railway line, known as Tweetsie  and runs from Johnson City to Elizabethton.  Round trips is 18 miles or so.   You do share the well maintained trail with joggers, walkers, and families just out for a stroll.  I certainly would recommend that you take advantage of the trail.

Great place to walk, run, or bike. Clean, places to rest. Mile marker help you know your distance. More parking would be good, but overall it's an enjoyable place to get some fresh air.

Great place to bike, run, or walk! Nice smooth surface and a gentle grade make for a great trail for beginners. Very popular spot, so parking can be tight at times but there is more parking further down across from the rec center (public pool).

 Love riding this trail.   Its pretty and I do it often.   Highly recommend this trail.
