The Uncommon Palate is a really cool shop. It's a smaller space, but it's full of unique food and kitchen items. I love that they have local, farm fresh eggs, and the cannolis are absolutely wonderful - our family's favorite dessert. We take our out of town guests into the shop, and they're always impressed. It's also a great place to find gifts for people.

A very quiet and quaint artisan food store filled with high-end olive oils, coffees, wine, local honey and baked goods as well. The quality of confectionery and culinary products they carry seems to be quite high, though it's a bit expensive in my opinion. The store also feels like it's overstuffed with goods and perhaps a little cramped. It might not be to my liking, but I encourage people to visit; they have a coffee bar, so you can grab a coffee and a cannoli just to check it out.

Best treasure in East Dundee!  From gourmet coffee's to gourmet Olive Oils!  Boutique Wines to specialty gifts.  I love to visit the shop owner Lisa for a cup of coffee and chat.  She is so inviting and has helped me pick out good selections of wine to give to my friends.  Stop by and see her.  You will fall in love also.  Thanks, Patty
