Don't send your kids here or any art school. They will most likely end up working in a coffee shop after graduation. Send them to a trade school to be an Electrician or something. Art schools churn out students to a over saturated job market. It's not illegal but basically a scam.

i love the crafts program so much the hands on teaching style is a once in a lifetime experience. however, the school is very top-heavy in administration, making it extremely costly. not worth the money if you're not bourgeoise.

Attending this School in the Fall! Uarts has been my dream school for a while. My father is an alumni and current faculty member at the school. I've practically grown up on the campus. I've been coming to work with my father since I was a toddler. The Faculty have been nothing but nice and have almost become like a family. Uarts was the school I chose because after taking countless classes at the school and being immersed in the community, the sense of welcome, the sense of community. You not only become part of college, you become part of the Flourishing artistic community of Philly that keep the city so unique and diverse. It doesn't feel like some cold Ivy League factory pumping out students. The school feels like a home, where you're excepted for who you are and it becomes a comfortable place to pursue your artistic dreams, goals, and desires to your hearts content. If you're considering Uarts, I hope you choose it. You'll meet some amazing peers who support and comfort you, amazing professors who aid and challenge your artistic vision, and not only be apart of the exciting active Uarts community, but you get to experience why Philly is the City of Brotherly Love, right here at the heart of Philly. As beautiful as Philly is as a city, I believe the true beauty lies within the people you meet here. : )
