Story

With service quality and overall guest experience being our number one priority, The Upkeep Shoppe has become an award winning spa, located in the heart of Little Italy Ottawa. Since opening in June 2012, the shop has recently expanded, doubling in size. The shop now consists of a mani/pedi lounge, eyebrow bar, luxurious treatment rooms and offers a wide selection of retail. Proud recipients of Top Choice Awards 2013 & 2015 and Three Best Rated award 2017.

I had the most wonderful experience here today. I booked a double "me time" package for a friend and myself and can only say great things about our time today. I loved the personal touches, asking if my feet were soft enough, asking if I had any allergies or sensitivities, having fresh iced tea refilled etc. I especially loved that when I was interested in purchasing one of their nail colours that when they didn't have any of the colour I wanted up front they went in the back storage to see if they had any for me. I will definitely be going back and would suggest this shoppe to anyone.

Fantastic service comparable to no other in the city. I HIGHLY recommend Amanda for waxing services! I have never received such clean, fast waxes anywhere before. The prices are fair, and there are nice discounts if you buy some services in bulk.

Great place to go with a friend. The shop is well set up for pairs of friends to have manicures and pedicures done together. The staff are very friendly and very attentive.

I brought a friend here for her birthday and got us some long-awaited pedicures. 

The staff were really accommodating, allowing me to pay and get set up early so my friend could stroll right in. They brought out some tea for us and the treatments started right on time. The pedicures and foot massages were fantastic - we both left with very happy feet. 

Additionally, this is one of the few spas that truly feels gender neutral, and it's definitely one I'd come back to.

I'm not normally one to write reviews. However being in the service industry myself I feel obliged to congratulate someone on providing outstanding service. I come in monthly to pamper myself with a facial. My aesthetician is Brittany and she is amazing! She has the perfect touch and her extractions are effective without being painful. She always uses the right pressure and has never made me feel uncomfortable. I am so relaxed from her massages ( shoulder neck scalp and hand massage is included) I leave feeling beautiful and calm. The products they use are all natural and organic which is amazing for my sensitive skin. I could go on and on raving about their facials!
