So I went in to return a textbook from Chegg. I usually go to the one where my university was located, but I came home and decided to do it here. I should have read the reviews, would of saved me a horrible experience. First of all $3 really?? for tape, you apparently have to bring your boxes sealed. From my experiences I have never been charged for tape. Usually the slips are clearly marked to what goes inside, and for some reason mine was not so I did not seal my package. I then asked if they can seal it for me, only to be told that it would be a $3 charge. I then asked why and I was told that it became too "expensive" for the owner to provide "this service". So now they charge you $3 to seal your package or $5 for your own roll.... How in the world does it make sense to charge $3 for a strip of clear tape? A STRIP. A dollar maybe, but come on. Secondly, as I went in there were and handful of people waiting before me. I was in no rush, so I didn't mind it at first. Every time a new customer entered they wouldn't look up to greet them, instead they would just look down/ignore them, and just yell out that they will be "eventually be assisted". Then when one clerk decided to see how many people were waiting, she scolded a customer for not realizing that her return was suppose to be at USPS and not UPS. She sarcastically told her she should of read the box more clearly then she wouldn't be wasting her time in line. The customer then asked a question, only to be spoken over and then be ignored. I seriously don't get the $3 charge, maybe for some you might think "you should of sealed it prior to returning it". But from all the times I have used UPS (which are several in different locations) they would double check that I was returning the correct product with the correct slip, thus my box would be sealed from them free of charge. I don't think it is fair, especially since I already paid for shipping and handling and now I have to pay and extra $3 for a strip of tape...unbelievable. Yet overall this team needs help with customer service. No one should be spoken to and treated that way.

I always utilize this UPS store to pick up my packages. Experiences have been good. Up until today. There was a line, and as usual I go with my 2 year old son. He's comfortable around the store as we've been there often. He Was looking at cards, he accidentally drops one and the clerk (Lauren) tells me I would have to pay for that. I didnt say anything and paid $4.23 for a greeting card. She then, wants to harass me about a tracking # of one of the boxes. Never have I been asked for a tracking #. I had my DL and it matched the boxes. As if I am supposed to memorize the tracking #?!?! I'm glad I had my emailed saved, and shut her up. She needs to learn how to do her job more efficient.

For over 7 years we had always utilized ''this UPS store, and had always found the staff so friendly and helpful. We were so pleased with them that we utilized their Christmas toy drop of as one of our favorite charities during Christmas time. However today 2/15/2017, I was so humiliated and angered that I will never use this store again. The young blonde female clerk that waited on me was one I had never seen before. I was returning a package from Amazon that was damaged. I printed out the return label and brought it with the package to be sent off. The female clerk looked at the label and stated to me "you are supposed to put bottom part of the label in the box". I told her I didn't realize, and she quickly responded And sarcastically, "well if you would have read the instructions you would have known!" I was humiliated and I was going to stay cause I wanted my package returned. When I asked her if I could have some tape to reseal the package, she pushed the tape towards me and said, "well usually I am supposed to charge you for this". That was it! I picked up my package and left. I told the other female clerk, who had waited on me several times and was very friendly and helpful that I would never be returning to the store because of her co-workers' attitude. She was apologetic and I left. It is clerks like the first one that needs lessons in better customer service. I can only hope her manager realizes her shortcomings and get her better trained before she loses more business.

Nicole was Rude... I walked in along with a few other customers. A line had formed all the way to the door and she yells out "we'll be with you eventually" forget about the other cashier who wasn't helping and forget about greeting your customers. Poor customer service, not to mention, she looked like she hadn't bathed, or combed her hair in days. Then once I get to the counter she tries to charge me 3$ for a strip of tape on my envalope, then continues to talk to the customer that was already done and just standing there. I will never walk back into this store again. Ew, I will definitely be sticking with the McHenry location.

Those white ladies that were working their today 5/1/17 5:00pm in their don't know anything they could not find a answer to my questions we're not very helpful didn't seem friendly such a bad experience first time trying to use that place I'm so fustrated leaving that place.
