I had my parents drop off a parishable box to be overnighted to my house. They dropped it off at 5:47pm, the UPS website says last air shipment is at 6pm. The person working told them the package would arrive the next day. Instead the package sat at the store and was not picked up until 5pm the next day. When I called the store, they acted like I should know that the packages were picked up between 4:30 and 5pm everyday and had no care in the world about my package or that the website was wrong. I called UPS and sat on hold several times, totally a 40min phone call to be told they didn't know what I wanted them to do that the stores were not owned by UPS. I asked them as well to get the website updated, but nobody seem to have a clue how that works. So I will get my spoiled package tomorrow and not so much as an apology from UPS.
