Excellent place to stay!  I wish the grounds and gardens had been taken care of.  But we would stay again.

My wife & I are spending a long weekend in the Texas Hill country. The Austin room at The Verandas Guest House is a wonderful accommodation. The rooms are more spacious than many B&Bs and well laid out. Although the breakfast is at a local restaurant, the food was excellent and allowed us to sleep in and have breakfast for lunch. We are already planning to come back.

The Veranda Guest House and the surrounding area gave us the refreshing getaway my husband and I needed. I would highly recommend this quaint B&B, as well as, Crazy Gal'sCafe.

The Houston Room was absolutely charming.  The owner made me feel right at home.  The free breakfast at the Crazy Girl Cafe was really good too.
