We choose this restaurant for its view and reviews on the food. The staff was friendly but the service didn't match up with the cost of the food. We reserved a window seat with was awesome but didn't realize it was actually outside on a little patio. The view was great but it ended up being too cold and we had to move our table inside the doors. It would have been nice to know that we needed to bring jackets with us for diner. Our food took way too long to arrive. Both of our diners were average at best but cost fortune. There were about three or four other couples there and the weird thing was that all of our food came out at the same time even though our orders were not take together. Not sure what the deal was with that. So over all, the view was great and neat atmosphere but I would never got back just because the cost of the food is way over priced and not even close to being worth it.

I tried making reservations and accommodations for a party of 14 following my elopement. I tried emailing to confirm plans such as the flower arrangements and linens we wanted to bring so I hade these confirmations in writing and the event specialist Jessica promptly replied to my first email on the Monday before our Friday event but did not answer all of the questions and did not respond to my reply in Tuesday. By Wednesday I had tried not only another email but called and left a voicemail on her direct line. I waited until 7 pm to call and make a reservation at the Stanley and had a confirmation email outlining all of our accommodations and details within 10 minutes. I followed that up with canceling our dinner reservation with The View. Sad we can't tell you how the food is but the service is awful and I've never walked in the door.

DO NOT GET MARRIED HERE if Jessica is still the coordinator. She made everything unnecessarily difficult, did not return calls or emails (providing a bookful of excuses), did not show up on time, would not put PRICES in our contract, gave my mom's credit card informatiin to her (Jessica's) husband, sent snippy, unprofessional emails, and was definitely the sour spot for our reception.  She even set the whole room up backwards so I had to recruit people to move heavy tables and reset place settings on the morning of my wedding because she wasn't there to fix it. RUN!!!

Such a charming place to eat! My wife and I were there for our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better place to have a quiet romantic dinner! The staff was great and brought our food out in a very timely matter. The food was to die for! The pork was so tender and juicy it was perfect!!

Rustic charm tucked away on top of the hill.  Excellent food (short ribs).  And friendly service.

I read that someone say it was salty, and my was slightly saltier.  But very good flavor, so I did not mind it. 

The view is amazing, get a window view when you get here.
