JD was very knowledgeable. He came to our hotel room for the tasting, taught us a new way to taste whisky, and allowed us to try things we haven’t before. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Las Vegas for even a weekend. Great price and great company!

OK.... Every whisky enthusiast, this is a must place to see. Why I hear you ask?  There is a tremendous collection of bottles available  and they are accessible. In other words that bottle that you have gathering dust on in your collection that you don't want to open is probably  here, for you to try. This is not a drop by place so appointment only for tasting sessions  and introduction training.  J.D  is a real gentleman  who knows his stuff and really a great personality and whisky ambassador.  I've travelled to many places worldwide  on my whisky trail and this place is easily in the top 5.

This trip to Las Vegas was focused on our 3 Drunken Celts' event at The Whisky Attic; a seated tasting of 7 unique expressions per person that was crafted just for our group. It was an exceptional experience that provided some once in a lifetime bottle samples. It was an amazing experience that taught everyone in the room something, regardless of their level of experience with whiskies. From complete beginners to weathered old-timers, we all learned something new. The Whisky Attic, you see, is not a bar but rather an education center devoted to bringing a deeper appreciation of whiskies to everyone. Adam Carmer's thesis on spirits tasting provides an entirely new process to elicit the subtleties from whiskies and other spirits. Dispelling a number of myths around whiskies as well, you get a wonderful and accurate understanding of the spirit. JD handled our crowd with wonderful candor and aplomb. Take this all as my wholehearted recommendation: make a point of getting to the Whisky Attic as soon as you are able, the experience is a once in a lifetime event though honestly, hopefully much more often than that not to miss and will elevate your appreciation for all spirits!

Was an amazing experience, JD is extremely knowledgeable and kept us engaged and entertained through the whole process. The CSTEM way of tasting really brought out flavors I had never tasted before. Will definitely book again, if for no other reason than to taste whiskey with JD again

The money you will spend on this experience is an investment in your education. The knowledge you will gain from just a couple of hours at The Whisky Attic with JD will change your life and ability to pair whiskys with activities, foods, and even people. Amazing and stunning experience. Good people, doing good things, for good reasons have created another return client.

Just did my second course at the Whisky Attic.  We had a large group of 20 and the Attic did not disappoint.  JD is a fantastic host and a wealth of knowledge on all things whiskey.  Can't wait to visit again!

I had a wonderful time at The Whisky Attic. It was very engaging and informative. The selection of whisky had things I did not expect to enjoy but were all very fun and tasted so different. If you are in Vegas and are looking for something cool and different check this out. Must DO!!

We had a wonderful time at the Whisky Attic. I feel so well versed in Whisky/Whiskey/ Bourbon/Scotch. Such a fun group experience, great date night idea, or something to just educate yourself if you're a Whisky/Whiskey Lover. I would recommend this to everyone.

JD was superb.   The education and background of the different whiskeys of the world was outstanding.  JD's energy and enthusiasm made the class that much more enjoyable .  The tasting was customized to our specific pallets.  The methodology behind the tasting was unlike anything that I had previous experience with.  I would highly recommend this to anyone who has minimal experience or to those with moderate to a refined pallate of whiskey.  Thank you JD!!!
