Food was so good I almost forgot to take a picture. Beet wings, squash ravioli, lobster salad. The wine was amazing. Excellent atmosphere, food, and service. Highly recommend! Vegetarian options: Beet wings.
Excellent service in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. Definitely not a "cheap date"... dinner for 2 was about $80. But we enjoyed it very much! We love that many of the ingredients are locally sourced! A great place for a special occasion meal.
Came for dinner on a business trip. Friendly staff, perfectly cooked food, good drinks. For a Tuesday night they were quite busy which speaks volumes. Would definitely come back when in the area.Recommended dishesBread Pudding
Some of my friends took me there for my 81st birthday. The owner and host, Todd, was very welcoming and very congenial. Our server, Eric, was extremely helpful describing the various selections on the menu. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. I am looking forward to a return visit.Food: 5/5
I normally love this place ! but we went on Valentines Day for their special fixed price tasting menu and were very disappointed in the overall experience - far, far below what we expected based on prior experience and the price tag of $299 plus tip for two wine not included. The menu was far too ambitious for their staff and kitchen; generally over-seasoned and overcooked with zero points for presentation. I’m glad this wasn’t my first meal with them because I’d never go back if it had been.
My husband and I love unique foods. I use to work as a personal chef and caterer. We weren't blown away by our Valentine dinner for $299 per couple plus tax, plus tip equaling $365 total. Let me start by saying the staff and chefs were friendly. We sat at the top of the stairs at a bar top not a table. They provided a complimetry drink, but we aren't drinkers. It would have been a nice gesture to offer a virgin cocktail. We were being served food within seconds after being seated though it seemed. It felt rushed. Our waiters were too busy running up and down the stairs, loudly, to talk much. It was a nuisance. I felt sorry they had to climb the steep stairs over and over. Some food wasn't hot enough, some needed more finessing. We wanted to love this place, but we didn't. We liked the Japanese steak and lobster pot pie. The salad was served with a huge wedge of cheese that was out of proportion to the dish. I requested crostini, so we could enjoy it and get our monies worth. We likely wouldn't go back, but do hope they can take this input and improve with more fitness put into each course.
Wow! I LOVE this restaurant! Let’s start with the service - when the employees are singing in the kitchen, this is a happy family! I know it’s a “100 Best Wine Restaurant” but I had the best Porter of my visit. The house salad was great and not overpriced. The squash ravioli was amazing! Excellent dinner and excellent staff!
Incredible experience. Beautiful atmosphere and the food was amazing. They had 3 soups and we couldn't decide so we tried them all!! Alan took great care of us and we even got a chance to say hello to the chef!
This is a really nice location and the service is wonderful! Very friendly and good consultation. We had as starters a Salat and a chili soup. Our main dish was called “toufles” hope I wrote it right - rice with mushrooms and chicken was excellent! At the end we got a very good pecan pie ... which was a dream. Thanks for this nice evening!
Each person in Our party of seven had different menu items and all were very pleased. Beef Wellington, lamb meatloaf, sweet potato ravioli, and the beef burger we're all cooked to perfection. The lemon blueberry tart was the favorite desert. This was my first visit at the Wildflower Cafe but won't be my last.
