Went to the Wine Shop for a quick lunch! Sat outside and got chilly quick so we decided to eat inside. We got a glass of wine and a beer  The wine was great and beer was cold. I Ordered the  hamburger with BBQ on it and slaw. Side salad. Also ordered Fried Goat cheese and apple salad. The burger was one of the best hamburger I have ever had. It had a pulled pork on it with a mustard bbq sauce and Cole slaw and was a great surprise.  Total will get it again when I go back next time!!  She loved her salad cleaned her plate witch is rare for us. I cleaned my plate there was nothing left.They have a cigar section so stop by and get one! When you Go take all your friends and family. Wine Shop is the place to go for dinner, lunch, or just a glass of great wine. Also is a great gift for the holidays or birthday gifts! They have a great section to wrap it up how ever you need! When you Go  Tell the Brian Sent ya!! The Review Guru! Dined here August 27,2022 roughly around 8pm with my family and it was amazing wine, soups, salads, sandwiches and so much more. Although our experience was so fantastic because of our awesome server "Nicole"! We did have a glitch with the hostess at this wine shop, didn't catch her name but she was an older woman with dark curly hair and short, when we arrived through the main entrance we had not even been greeted yet and the hostess shakes her head from side to side and said "WE HAVE NOTHING", my family and I not knowing exactly what she meant we continued standing there because we saw 2?3 tables free and clear. My brother pointed to an empty table and  asked her do you have room for a 5 top she said again "we have nothing". She then proceeded to say the problem is all these tables are set up as 4 tops and my brother asked well can we just add an extra chair? She said absolutely not so he said well let everyone else get seated and ill just go sit at the bar. She finally says okay and seats just us four at a high-top, meanwhile once our amazing server came to greet us we asked her was their anyway we could add the empty table next to us together to our table so my brother wouldn't have to sit at the bar away from us. She was pleased to do just that and accommodate us fully. She turned our whole experience around with her exceptional service & kindness. We will always ask for her every time we visit. But if we had not pushed to ask questions to get seated when we saw multiple tables being unoccupied, we may not have gotten the nice dinner we wanted, the hostess needs some etiquette revamping immediately.

The food was really quite good, very surprising for a wine bar. All in all I was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. The service was good, just didn't really feel that they wanted to be there. That doesn't take too much off of my review. I would definitely go back and if you are in Rivergate, give it a try.Food: 5/5

Great food and wine ! Our first time there and it was a pleasant surprise,  had a little wait to be recognized but they were busy , our server was awesome after that wait though,  she was very helpful with recommendations,  food was very good , homemade vegtable soup that was awesome, also enjoyed the calamari,  very different with strips , also had the Italian sandwich,  hope to be back soon , 5 stars for the best variety of wine and homemade soup in area, thank you!

I love this place!  Food...amazing.  staff.. amazing.  Nicole was our server and we loved her level of service!

I like to come here for brunch once in a while. My favorite menu items are the salads and the truffle parmesan fries! The staff is always super friendly and welcoming. The only item I think they should work on is new furniture outside - the metal chairs are very uncomfortable to sit on, especially when wearing shorts.

I have not been here in over a year as the service levels pre-pandemic have not matched those since.  Unfortunately, nothing has changed.  Servers are inattentive and seem more focused on chatting and having their meals than they are on the guests.  Not sure if management has changed but this place used to be a great location to have a drink and good affordable food.  Food still affordable but the service is lackluster.  Hoping changes can be made.

Just had the worst steak imaginable for lunch today. I ordered medium-rare, but got a steak so overcooked it was impossible to even chew. I can enjoy just about any steak, but this one was practically meat-flavored-bubble-gum. The only flavor came from the burnt exterior. I had to cut it in very small bites for my pup to safely enjoy. The lady's burger & bacon were also overcooked. It seemed like the cook went out for a smoke break or something and forgot about our food.

You want ppl to come here but when they do they are treated horrible.  My African American daughter and her Hispanic boyfriend were treated so awful by a Caucasian host.  Tables were available and my daughter said the looks they received and she asked well can we sit outside and the host said they didn’t have tables outside but they were available as I called the manager and he said he don’t know why the host said that.  This absolute racist state and it’s ignorance and they getting all kinds of ppl here and they treat ppl that way.  Trust me this need to be fixed where it won’t happen ever again.

Food was delish!  Went for lunch and had the chicken caprese sandwich. AMAZING. Staff is friendly but service a bit slow. They need at least one more server.
