Tricky to rate. 1/5 for staff and 8/10 foe something a little different that is gluten free and yummy. TIP: The coffee cups are incorrectly designed seal is off which means by default they will leak if the lid is not placed at the exact correct position in line with vertical seal on cup...so ask for two cups to collect drips - lesson learnt the hard way. FOOD: Great selection of varied mochi delights. They don't seem to be as fresh as those at Nisshodo in Hawaii - however 10/10 for the incredibly broad array of flavours see pics. Great array of some jams/spreads, fresh juices, great array of hot drinks also see pics and some cute Japanese merchandise. STAFF: They had one staff member cooking in pic, he seemed competent enough - the other was on his phone, sitting on the chair back from the counter - despite a number of people in the shop asking if he could serve them. He didn't want to serve anyone - had extremely poor work ethic and unprofessional attitude that makes me wonder how he still has a job. ACCESSIBILITY and STORE;  and wheelchair all one level accessible store with ample street parking outside and seconds from the tram/bus stop. OVERALL: I couldn't bring myself to support a store with such an ill mannered staff member and the mochi's weren't a big enough' draw card' to have me come back.

Stopped into Third Culture Bakery to try their butter mochi donuts. They have two other locations Walnut Creek and Berkeley.  Mochi donuts are $3.25 USD, mochi muffins are $4.25-4.45 USD. They also offer drinks and mochi waffles.  - 6x Mochi donuts $3.25 USD - tried the mango passionfruit, ube coconut, jasmine milk tea, Thai tea, yuzu lemon and raspberry lychee. Texture is okay but not enough of a chewy, springy bounce. Flavours are light; best of the bunch was the raspberry lychee.  Have had better mochi donuts. 3.5 stars.

Deserves a four for innovative, fun, gluten free options. My friend tried these savory kimchi waffle. Her verdict is that it’s cool and interesting but probably not something she would just wake up and be like I have to have that kimchi waffle now.

I am here too often, I get too many strawberry matcha lattes and I have tried all of their mochi donut flavors. I just had their guava matcha latte and I realized that I have never written a review for this place, so I just want to say I love this place and I will try anything on their menu. I have had their roasted matcha, which is like if matcha was like dark chocolate, so rich and intense.  My favorite mochi donuts are the guava, strawberry, banana, and ube, but honestly you could give me any of them and I would devour it. I also love their original mochi muffin which I got for free the other day through having my phone number registered for star points. I want to try their banana pudding sometime, but they also have so many seasonal offerings, the orange 5 spice muffin being my favorite for awhile.  If you haven't been here, you're missing out on a gem in inner sunset.

The mochi doughnuts are amazing. I try a new one every time, you can’t go wrong. Also I’ve got celiac disease and they’re gluten free; I’ve never had an issue or been unwell after!Food: 5/5

The mochi donuts are much better than those in Seattle! I hope they will ship it soon besides mochi muffins

The mochi muffins here are amazing! Chewy on the inside, slightly crispy on the outside, and perfectly sweet. The mochi donuts are great too, but the topping/frosting on some of them is a hard shell - I’d prefer if it was softer. Still delicious though :  The store is nice and clean, there are a few stools to sit on inside and a couple tables outside.

what an inspirational pink spot with exceptional service.  3.5 dollars for a UMCGD ube-mochi-coconut-glaced-donut, America's favorite donut! Can you believe that?  what would you say to your 6 year old self?  I'd say go get that UMCGD, G!  I'll be back

This bakery's atmosphere is wonderful. The aroma of freshly baked goodies fills the air, making it comfortable and welcome. Everything is excellent, including the croissants and danishes. It's essential to sample the bread pudding at this bakery. It has a perfect balance of sweetness and is rich and flavorful. Enjoy it

The most amazing bakery in the Bay Area! I first tried their mochi muffins and mochi donuts in Berkeley at their first bakery location and they are the most moist flavorful delicious taste of heaven! So happy they have opened a 2nd location in SF now!!Food: 5/5
