Thirsty Turtle Opened February 2011, It is Family Owned and Operated. We offer a full menu with variety from BBQ Chicken to House Smoked Pulled Pork, House Smoked Brisket, Walleye Sammie.

We stopped at the Thirsty Turtle on our way to our vacation desination, and because the food was so good, we made a deliberate choice to stop again on the way home. Our teenage sons ate the "Shadow Burger," which was a one-pound bacon cheeseburger with a side. These guys said this was the best burger they have ever had, and it filled them up. The fried green beans were really good, and the pulled pork sandwiches melt in your mouth. My family also loved the fresh breaded cheese curds. The locals recommended this place, and we could see why. Fun decor too.

Nice atmosphere, good food its a couple blocks from the town pump truck stop in big timber so its an easy walk to get some good food instead of the usual 6 dollar gas station sub. Service is a little slow when it gets busy as it looks like only one waitress is working, so probably not viable for a 30 minute break.

Seems like every time we come here at least one of their staff is super stuck up and/or rude. Pretty good food but a place should give you an experience and this one just makes us regret coming back.

Party of Seven. We all enjoyed our burgers, steaks, and beers. Price was very fair.

Delicious BBQ Horrible service. We walked in and we not acknowledged. We sat down and waited thinking someone would at least say hi or I'll be right with you or ask if we would like a beverage. They were more concerned about clearing tables off then waiting on us or any of the other customers .... I finally got up and asked some people at another table if we could look at their menus. Our waitress brought menus and took the order of another table before us. Shame on me for not speaking up then. After we got our food we were never checked upon so no beverage refills or how were our meal etc. And had to ask for the check.
