A small bar with it's own genuine character. A Music jukebox, arcade game, scratch ticket vending machine and a dart board add to the Thirsty Whales list of attractions.

We visited the restaurant part of the Thirsty Whale for lunch and really enjoyed it. The food tasted nice (we both had burgers - attached picture is the Bronco Billy Burger), was plentiful and cheap. The service was good as well, so all in all a fine experience

Codfish cake. Delicious. Big cake,  onion rings,  fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce. Always a pleasure earing at the whale. Best place to eat downtown in Newburyport
