A wonderful, secluded roost close enough to Nashville for day trips, and distant enough to hear cricket song at night. Mary Jane and Fred cook a substantial breakfast, then open their home for you to rest, read and repose. Or you can browse their catalog of Nashville music attractions, historical places, restaurants and whiskey pubs. You will never find a more hospitable, welcoming B&B anywhere than Thistletop Inn. Once you've stayed there, you'll find yourself part of an extended family, and you'll want to visit again soon.

Wow is an understatement. We actually live in TN but wanted to have a romantic couple days away from work and celebrate our first anniversary before our trip out of town. We booked the carriage house. It was very private, cute, and well set up. The house was eclectically decorated and beautiful. Every morning we did brunch at the main house and it was amazing to say the least. Mary Jane and Fred are amazing hosts. The brunch was $15 per person, my husband and I ate so much food that we couldn't eat dinner until 8 that night! Everything about our stay was beautiful, private, and romantic. Thanks Mary Jane and Fred for an awesome time- Amber and Jeremy

The property, house, and overall experience was absolutely amazing! Plenty to do on the property and very accessible distance to downtown Nashville. I plan to visit again in the fall!

Very peaceful location, very welcoming hosts, and plush furnishings. The photos do not do this b&b justice, we were very pleased with the quality of the linens, the hot tub, and the location. Minus one star due to poor locks on the private room's doors, the bathroom is open to the bedroom (and visible from the porch), and there is no vent/fan in the room.
