Great park with plenty of parking available, Monmouth County Parks System runs excellent parks. Lots of programs available here, some free some paid for, check online there's great stuff for all ages. Also nice to just come and take a walk or ride a bike around the long path that goes around the entire park.

I love Thompson park, I grew up with it! They have great trails for walking, an awesome bike path for riding, and plenty of other amenities. It always seems very well tended, too.

We are truly lucky in Monmouth County to have such a gem like Thompson Park. It offers so much and to so many people.

We did some cute deer photoshooting there! Moderate level trials are very rewarding with observations of different species and wild nature.

Lovely county park with playgrounds, picnic area, soccer fields, walking and cycling  trails, dog park, craft center.
