I have visited the store a few times and the staff are very helpful and friendly; a perfect balance of help when needed and being left alone when browsing. Some days I had a quick question; but, on others, I needed help with my knitting dilemmas and the staff were extremely generous with their time and advice. I have taken one class at TBF and laughed and learned lots.

Excellent shop with beautiful selection of yarns, from basics to luxury yarns. Best of all staff are friendly, helpful and are themselves avid knitters, so the conversation leads to shared passions, interests and more suggestions and ideas, such that it is hard to leave the store!! Classes are very good with individual attention, and I plan to take more in the future.

Yesterday I went into the store and asked for help with a pattern. The person I dealt with wasn't familiar with the pattern directions but persisted until she the directions became clear to her. She then invited me to practice the direction and reviewed what I was doing, confirming that I was doing it correctly. She offered other very useful suggestions. Best service possible. I will shop there for all my knitting needs. The experience was a pleasure.

By far the nicest and most helpful staff of a knitting store that I've ever met! I am a beginner knitter and took my almost finished cow neck scarf in to ask about binding the ends together and May was so lovely and actually spent the time with me to teach me and then supervise me finish the scarf. They have great wool options too and I walked away with new needles and wool for my next project. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
