Great fun for the entire family, water slides and water park for the kids great dining and also bar services for the adults! Also they have kind of a daycare where you can drop your kids off and they play All Day Tire themselves out so when you get back to your room they go directly to bed and you and your wife can have some simple alone time on vacation! What a great place what a great time.

Three Bears Resort was an amazing destination for myself and the group I was with. They offered the perfect set up for a large group, with large connected cabins so no one was left out. The water park was a fun escape with a wave pool, lazy river, water slides, an indoor/outdoor hot tub and more! Perfect for a February weekend when we are all tired of the cold. If you are looking for a fun, relaxing, get away with family or friends this is the perfect place!

How would you like a weekend getaway to feel right at home complete with dirty linens, leftovers in the kitchen, and last week’s garbage waiting (indefinitely) to be taken out? Oh and did I mention wildlife right inside your room? Then look no further than Three Bears Lodge in Warrens, WI. This place may be booming with tourists in the summer, but rest assured they staff the resort with the F squad in the winter. Upon arrival to our “villa” we were immediately met with a sidewalk that was completely iced over and garbage that had clearly been there for more than a few days as it was frozen solid to the ground and had to be removed with a shovel. For those who don’t know - there is no reasonable excuse that taking out the garbage should ever require a shovel. To be fair, I can’t fault the people who threw their garbage outside freely (not in a garbage bag) because we were given only one garbage bag for 2 nights with 10 people. I’m no math expert but that doesn’t add up. Next we opened the former “entertainment center” which has clearly now been used to house the last guests dirty linens. Literally just stuffed in there...couldn’t even pass as clean linens...thank God. But wait... the villa gets better...depending on your appetite. There was a half eaten bag of chips in the kitchen cabinet. Perhaps if you had the munchies this would be a delightful surprise, but to the common family renting a villa, this wreaked of a lack of attention to detail. Now you may be asking yourself “why did they choose this place and location when the reputable Wisconsin Dells is so close?” This question will continue to keep us awake at night. The initial answer is that we are from Minnesota and we were meeting in a central location to family we were meeting from Milwaukee. However, this was our greatest mistake. Our family from Milwaukee had to completely cancel their room and request a full refund due to...wait for it....BED BUGS. So our “once every few years reunion” was foiled. After all of this we decided to drown our sorrows in the hot tub at the water park. While there, we witnessed the saddest excuse of a “lifeguard”. Said “lifeguard” was busy shooting hoops with her friends from the sidelines of the pools. Meanwhile, a 3 year old wound up at the bottom of the pool on the complete other side. Thankfully, her dad took swift action while the “lifeguard” was working on her jump shot and the little girl was ok. A supervisor happened to see everything go down and immediately reprimanded the “lifeguard” (props Micaela). However, after the reprimand, the “lifeguard” motioned a gun to her head and returned to her friends in the pool to complain about how she was in trouble. Cool. I can say with 100% confidence that we will never return to this resort and will gladly pay hundreds more for a quality experience at a place like Great Wolf where we have experienced first hand outstanding customer service and attention to detail.

A great place to escape for the weekend, away from even the resort chaos of the Wisconsin Dells. Three Bears Lodge offers both a resort style hotel or cabins which can be rented out for large family gatherings, as mine did. The cabin rooms were spacious and accommodated the separate families within the larger cabin. With all of us sharing the spaces, we ended up with quite the deal, especially for a resort. The water park was a great way to kick back, although it is definitely geared towards young kids. This was my second stay at Three Bears and probably not my last!

First of all it's a nice place with lots of log work all around the outside and inside the front entrance. The beds are ok. But not that comfortable. Their eatery inside is kinda expensive for a family of 4 to eat breakfast. Only the buffet is open for breakfast and we spent $40 for 4 people. The pub was good for an evening to hangout. Got a decent selection of wines and beers. Had a brat burger with a side of fried cheese curds and that was good. The water slides are so much fun for the kids. The big ones for the tubes are the best ones to go on. Overall good place for a family to hangout on a weekend.
