Lovely bakery. Friendly staff. Outdoor seating! Bring your coffee and get some pastries to enjoy a lovely Saturday morning. Bakery is family owned and ran! We got to meet all 3 Danes on our visit. The savory pastries are amazing. We got a savory twist and a pepperoni roll and it was perfect The sweet pastries are amazing I write as I'm finishing off the strawberry galette. Pastries and flavors rotate and they use local ingredients when they can. Just come try it! Support your local businesses! They're open Fridays and Saturdays. Shoot for the morning to get your pick of the sweets.
Update 1/1/2019 Gave them back the last star: Their Christmas Kringles were a hit; both of them. And the service was still just as excellent as every time I go Great family owned and run bakery and bed and breakfast in the heart of fort worth. The mother daughter trio cook up sweets every day and sell them out of a small storefront until they run out for the day. They also make sweets for special events and holidays. Its not quite a 5 bc i wasnt a huge fan of the pies i got for thanksgiving, the apple pumpkin pie had entitely too much nutmeg or nutmeg type flavor, and the pecan chocolate was very dense. But i love their daily offerings, i have never been disappointed. The ladies who run the place are soo sweet too. I just love talking to them talk about what they put into particular treats, they provide such tasy description. I will likely upgrade after christmas when i get my kringles and those become a hit with my family and friends. I have never stayed in one of their rooms but they do look quaint and the house is so beautifully detailed. A little pricey but im sure the hospitality may be worth
We stayed in a room. This plays was so wonderful! I loved the fine china that was set out. You had a bear and wine at happy hour. I don’t drink but they had a coffee and tea station upstairs with cookies. The rooms where clean. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. They had breakfast rolls and rye bread. Everything was delicious. We tried the bakery out too. They had some really delicious baked goodies.
Do not miss out on this rich experience!! The fully restored Victorian Bed and Breakfast!! The cookies and pastries and hand pies so good you will never be the same!!!!
Everybody was extremely friendly, the place has a great aura and their pastries are even better. Will be back, most definitely. Items are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. This is quality stuff! Not really any place to sit down and eat inside where you order, the room is rather small, but I don't think they'd have any problems with you sitting at one of their tables outside and chowing down. Can't recommend this place enough
This bake shop is a must visit. The owners are a lively and gracious and the baked items are PHENOMENAL.
The cutest little bakery in the entire state of Texas! the owners are absolutely wonderful people and any time you go there you will be greeted with a smile! They remember their regulars and and without a doubt their pastries are unforgettable. Be sure to follow them on social media for up to date info on their hours because the bakery sometimes closes for events or for breaks for the very hard working bakers.
Such a great serendipitous find! Highest quality Danish pastries! Friendly and kind staff! Comfortable outdoor seating under beautiful shade trees!
Not only is the bakery wonderful, it's great fun to stay at their B&B! If we're around Ft. Worth at Easter next year, I'll be ordering those cute bunny cookies!
Best bakery we have been to in Fort Worth by a mile. We got 8 things on our last visit and none of them disappointed. The pastries are beautiful, tasty, and at a good price. Galettes, coconut macaroons, and cinnamon rolls satisfied our sweet tooth while gruyere twists and a pepperoni roll made for a great warm meal. In addition the service was extremely friendly and was more than happy to explain every menu item they had available. Plus, it is run by a mother and her two daughters, so you are supporting a small business. Highly recommend, please try them out. We didn't check out the bed and breakfast part of their business but the house is beautiful.
