A charming and lovely museum and historical house, the highlight of the Tiburon Railroad and Ferry Depot Museum is a model railroad complete with ferries waiting at the end of railroad tracks.

CAUTION: Museum is only open April through October, despite the hours listed on Google Maps.

During those months, the exhibits and extensive working model of the old Tiburon railroad yard are worth seeing.

This is such a great good place! The tour of how was it like in the olden days was a success! The tour guides around the olden day house were like real people who lived in the olden days. The typewriter works well, and the huge model of how it used to look like in Tiburon. Get some olden day history if you come here! They are really ready all the time

It is a very historic building, with a large model train diorama of what Tiburon (the railroad town) looked like around 1910. By coming here, you can increase your understanding of the railroad history of Tiburon, and the whole North Coast, as far north as Eureka.

Good place to get a bit of local history.  Tiburon was a railroad town.
