Solid Chinese restaurant with decent size portions. The service was friendly and attentive. Spacious dining area. The Mongolian beef and chicken was tasty. The green beans were flavorful and the eggplant was soft and delicious. Plenty of parking.Food: 5/5
I went here for the first time not too long ago. The service was fast but upon entry the restaurant was so dirty food all over the floor, every table covered with debris from previous guest. l decided to order my food to go and wait in the car. I ordered a Szechuan chicken which was pretty decent. Not a bad order choice with good flavor profile. However the real let down was the beef ramen. What a FLOP. I bought two entrees so I can enjoy something for lunch today and I am highly disappointed that this was my first meal of the day. The broth was peppery beyond belief. For ramen and them to call themselves a noodle house, it really fell short. I felt the ramen would have been the star but I was sadly mistaken. Service is cool and food is fast but I highly doubt I make a return visit.
Fourth Tiger Noodle I've gone to and this one is the closest to my home so I am so excited about that beautiful I love TNH! However the server would get lost and the person who brought out the food kind of would slam or throw the food onto the table, I'm not sure who he was. The place is a bit smaller than other locations I've been to. Now the FOOD like always is amazing and delicious, and so full of flavors. Hopefully they work on those little mishaps but I'll be back.
Had big hopes for this place as it is a relatively authentic looking Chinese close to Uptown. Majority are either in Chinatown or Heights. We ordered 3 different dishes and all had only mediocre flavor. Double cooked pork was too dry. Eggplant with ground pork didn’t have a good consistency. And the Dan Dan noodle with Beef had almost no flavor at all. A bit disappointed. But at least the service was good probably the first indicator that the food will not be the best - iykyk lol and the atmosphere is ok too
Living in the uptown there so many great places from the fancy 5star ,to the little smaller eatery. Tiger Noodles is one of those spot, Chinese food where the plates are good portion, great favor that hit the spot. Especially when you don’t want to dress up to grab something nice to eat it a casual little spot and laid back. And the food is good. I had the sauté lame we had the orange chicken, the beef, wraps, shrimp rolls, and fried rice..
This is one of the best Chinese restaurant in Houston I ever had. Most all the dishes taste so great and originally that what I tried before in China. And the services of the restaurant are good and helpful, Double thumbs up Will coming back again for my favorite dishes here soon....Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: NoCurbside pickup: Yes
a great uptown chinese restaurant that definitely saves the drive to bellaire. best dishes: steamed fish filet with ginger & onions and the spicy shredded potato. soup dumplings didn’t have much soup inside, but the overall taste was pretty decent! good portion size
Probably one of the best Chinese restaurant I’ve been to in many years. It’s located in a strip mall but don’t let that bother you as the food is exceptional. I think its run by the family and all of them are very sweet and attentive. The chefs are very talented. A must if ever in Houston.
Chicken Pot Stickers, pan fried dumpling 8 pcs $7.95 Pineapple Shrimp fried rice $12.95 Shrimp Fried Rice Veggie Spring Rolls 2 pcs $2.95 Tea Leaf Smoked Duck half- bone in duck$14.95. It was decent. It wasn’t too “game-y” or oily the way duck can be. I wish it were served with a sauce. Variety of menu options including veggies, tofu, and offer several types of meats beef, pork, lamb, chicken, duck, fish, shrimp, squid Good portion sizes Affordable The menu shows pictures of most of the appetizers, entrees, and sides Fast and friendly service Nice ambiance, quiet enough to talk Convenient free parking Great tourist location Bar Family friendly
The guys really just... they serve well and stuff. Not much to say about them as they- that's it! They work like they don't have a soul. They'll get you your food and such, but every time I go, they serve like they were born yesterday. No personality, no smiles, just....another day at the office. Food is delicious and would love to come again. Full of life or not.
