Came here for some great seafood. Smoked tuna with cheese taco used to be my favorite, but tried the smoke tuna fries and now ill be coming back for that! Be sure to wash it down with a Tamarindo michelada!
So I tried the SMOKED TUNA FRIES today, they were better than advertised. Had half serving size and that was enough for 2. This place keeps delivering gems.Food: 5/5
Stopped by for lunch on saturday November 18, 2023 after the gym . The staff were really awesome and on point collectively . Costumer service was great and the food was excellent. Shoutout to the bartender, the bar back and hostess .Food: 5/5
Tacos are really good. Try the octopus taco. The fries with tuna are great. Honestly some of the best mariscos tacos in San Diego. The prices were a bit high but the food is good. The appetizers are good too. Look at the portion size in comparison to the menu prices. Still a great seafood option in San Diego

They truly care about ALL their customers. I'm allergic to gluten and called ahead to check ingredients on the aguachile, they informed me that they could make it without Worcestershire & Soy sauce to accommodate my dietary needs. When we got seated, the server had already been notified of my allergy by the host. I felt right at home. We ended up getting the salsa verde Aguachile without the gluten, as well as the Ahi tuna appetizer without the fried onions and marinade of course. Even without the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and marinade, it was bomb Definitely recommended! Dietary restrictions: Some items are gluten free friendly
TJ Oyster Bar is a hole in the wall eatery with indoor and outdoor seating. I come to the area almost monthly and this place is on my list of venues to eat at each time! True to the “hole in the wall” concept - smaller space but GREAT FOOD! Nice bar, friendly staff, and did I say Great food? Today had the chipotle shrimp fries and chipotle tacos! The food is abundant so you likely need less than you usually eat. Everything comes out fresh and fast so order a taco or two less and then order more. Try them all from stingray to gosh to octopus. Beautiful decor. Will return of course. JB Recommended!
