I lived in South Korea for 13 years, and this is the most authentic Korean food I've had since moving back to the US. The soondae, kimchi chigae, and panchan are all delicious. If you want authentic Korean food in the Chicagoland area, this is the place to get it.

This place used to be great. I always had to wait to get a seat. However there was a ownership change recently and taste changed.

This service used to be good, but with the ownership change, it is just not the same. Moreover, this place has closed too often without any proper warning.

The best kim chi chi jae (cabage stew) I have had in Korea and the USA.  I beleive the broth they use in the kim chi chi jae is from the other bone-based stews on the menu; so it gets a unique flavor. My wife loves the dwae jae guk bap (bone stew with pork). The sun dae (korean blood sausage) is very good but for a Westetner I had to try it once or twice before I enjoyed it.
