This was our first visit here. For the first time in a long time, my husband's steak ordered medium rare actually came out the way he ordered it! All the food was amazing, and the restaurant had an amazing coffee smell as soon as you walked in. The portions are generous in size but not too big. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. This little country cafe is hip and has a very inclusive menu with vegan and gluten-free options and though it is hidden, it is well worth the visit! Dietary restrictions: Several cearly labeled gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan offerings on the menu
Stopped by to get breakfast and was surprised by how amazing the food was. I recommend the whole ham steak, if you're ready for a large breakfast. The ham covered the whole plate and was a real ham steak with bone in the middle not some imitation. They had to bring my sides on a seperate plate. As you can see in the picture, that's what I couldn't finish, it was definitely worth it. Definitely coming back. Only caution, it does get loud when the restaurant is full.
Very busy, but the waitress with pretty nails, tattoos, lashes and black hair was amazing. She was the only one taking orders and seating people, I dont know how she handled 20+ people. She was direct, kind, and efficient. I ordered the eggs benedict and it was the best Ive had, perfect portion. The only thing I would love more is more veggies in the country potatoes lol but it was still really delicious! If you can be a little patient for food and seating, this is a great place for brunch :. I will be coming again Edit: I went a second time and another waitress with a cute middle nose piercing, brown bun and tall height was sweet and humorous. All the waitresses must be amazing, and the food was consistently good. This will be a regular place for us
Absolutely love the roaster theme decor. The restaurant is very clean. Staff is really friendly. The food is definitely fresh and great quality. Couldn't have asked for a better brunchFood: 5/5
It was Sunday at 9am a single party of four waiting outside. You need to use download the Yelp app to be placed on a wait list. I guess the people who don't have smart phones cant wait to be seated. I'm clearly not one of them but they do exist. There was a 30 minute wait. Not horrible but unexpected when there was only a party of four waiting. As I sat there I figured out why as I saw people pulling in to the parking lot and going in to be sat. Being able to join the waiting list while you're on your way is a cool benefit to using an application like Yelp. The restaurant looks great. They massively updated and remolded the building from the previous restaurant. The seats that aren't booths are hard metal, not comfy. As is normal when I try a new place I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, Over Easy Eggs, Country Potatoes with a request to have them crispy, and Sour Dough toast. The coffee is on the bitter end but my wife would love it. They had French Vanilla, Hazelnut and Non-Dairy Creamer but no dairy option. The waitress brought me over a ramekin of milk. A good variety of sweeteners. Food came out and it looked fine. The eggs were spot on over easy. The sour dough tasted like warmed white bread and was hardly even toasted. The potatoes seemed like they were fresh out of a roasting pan, mushy, barely warm and absolutely no effort placed to make them crispy. The chicken friend steak was pretty. It didn't taste bad and had enough gravy on it. The gravy was fine. When you order the most expensive thing on the menu that "Sells out every weekend" you expect more than fine and warmer drawer potatoes. They cooked the eggs perfect though which a lot of places cant seem to do.
It was good experience, the food is good, not great. I ordered breakfast burrito but it was dry and un-flavorful It seems very popular place I don’t think I will be coming back. It was so loud and annoying
I really LOVED the food. We ordered the Fearless Rooster, the strawberry nested bread waffle and a Garden Bird Skillet. All three were fantastic. The place is a little noisy and there is usually a waiting list on yelp. Do the smart thing and join it before arriving. Average times is 15-30min wait time for the list. Vegetarian options: They have several vegetarian options for all their styles of entries.
Love this place! Nicely decorated, friendly atmosphere, great service & yummy food... it gets packed quickly, so I'd suggest getting there early to avoid the wait.Food: 5/5
Decided to stop by Toasted Rooster Cafe for a late lunch. We were sat immediately. We ordered: -rustic flight $26, what the donkey, mango rooster, pear, decent mimosas -veggie omelet $15, made well -steak and egg combo $19, steak was below avg Eggs, toast, and hash browns were all good. Staff was friendly as well. They have TVs playing sports too and great music selection. Parking available on premises.
Excellent food and excellent service. We did have to wait about 10 minutes to be seated, but afterwards everything was spectacular. The food was prepared nicely and tasted like home cooked breakfast - but better. Definitely will be back. Parking: Small lot that fills up quickly. If it’s full, your best bet is to find street parking. Kid-friendliness: Full menu with lots of options for kids.
