I was shocked at the portion of food I received for $30.00+ dollars. The sushi was terrific and crunchy. I also ordered hibachi shrimp fried rice. In my opinion, whoever prepared my food should have switched the shrimp and rice in the container. The shrimp should've been placed where the rice was and the larger portion where the shrimp is should have been filled with rice. That just makes sense. The food did taste good, but its practically a kids meal or a snack. I didn't think I should pay for more rice because my food was already so expensive totalling over 30 dollars. The blue indicates where more food should be for $30.00+ dollars. Parking: There's a parking lot on the premises where the restaurant is.
I had the Hibachi fried rice with Chicken and Scallops, which was very delicious. The miso soup wasn't good, it tasted like I was eating flowers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of free parking on site. I would go back here again but, I wouldn't order the miso soup.
Food great. Hate that the all you can eat Sushi is only if you sit at the bar. Ok for one or two people not for a group.
I stopped in to have some sushi on a hunch a few weeks ago, and I have been here a total of three times. My wife loves your fried rice and I love your sushi. Grateful I stopped in because you guys really have great food. I would consider you to be a Hidden gem for sure.Food: 5/5
Love this place. My kids love the hibachi and I enjoy they are happy to seat my family alone at the hibachi table. It’s a more intimate experience. The sushi is excellent. Always high quality and unique choices. I have been going here for years.
Firstly I’ll say I’ve been here numerous amounts of times and the food is tasty. However the customer service is horrible towards black people. They rushed me and another few right after we got done eating they handed us boxes as if we were being rushed. Bringing the check when it wasn’t even requested. Charging for 1 extra yum yum sauce is also insane. I also feel like it could be a lot more sanitary. I don’t like the meat the sitting on the tray. I won’t be back. They just don’t have good customer service and should be more respectful. Don’t play during black history month!!
Place has welcoming set up whereas the food & its employees are not so welcoming. I will say that our hostess was very nice to us but everyone else was either kind of rude or felt somewhat off. The chef didn't cook our scallops & chicken thoroughly which is pretty dangerous when serving it to your guest. All of us didn't get equal portions either. I highly would recommend you go to Soho Japanese Bistro, Fuji Steak House or Miyako Sushi & Grill. I personally don't want to come back here. Hopefully their service is good for others in the future.
Ya, I've just been to much better hibachi restaurants. While the chef did the usual onion stack on fire, and flipping food at us, he was just lackluster in his performance and I had to tell him when to stop cooking the meat. Maybe he was just having a bad night. Also too much rice in proportion to the food on top! Rice should be a side, not 90%of the plate. I know we're falling on hard times, but I'd like enough ingredients on the rice to balance it out. I would suggest adding vegetables to the dishes. It's all just basically rice!
This is a fine casual dining restaurant. The food that I got, shrimp lo mein, was only moderately flavorful, the miso soup was a little bland, but the gyoza was pretty good. They were very busy with takeout orders and seemed stressed out; the service was pleasant but not remarkable. I might try again on a less busy night, just to see if the food is a little better.
Food was not fresh, salad watery and sushi tasted like fish had been frozen, mushy, rice very dry and also seaweed wrap very dry. Disappointed decor, paint chipping, carpets very dirty, toys and dirty dishes left near tables. They did wear masks, why? Will not go back.Food: 2/5
