We went there over the weekend with my friends. We sat on the hibachi table. My husband and I ordered sushi. The sushi we ordered was dry. The lady who served our table was awful. I was still eating my sushi when she threw the box into my face, however, I didn’t ask for it. She literally kicked us out. The worst service I ever had in my life and she included tips for the check. For her service, I’ll never give her any tips! I gave this place two stars only for the hibachi chef, he did his job great.
Read this review before you order food here. I have ordered from this place before and I will say their food is great but I was so disappointed with this order. I ordered the lunch special which came with miso soup, white rice, with your choice of protein and vegetables. Online the order state that it is $11.45. I paid $23 plus tax for this meal. You let me know if this meal was worth the $23. 3 measles pieces of shrimp and a whole lot of empty space with a few pieces of steak. The next day I went and spoke to the owner to let him know that the online prices were not accurate. An employee met me and told me their prices have went up to accommodate “economy”, okay cool. The owner comes over and disclaims that the online menu is even his and that he did not create that online menu and that menu does not belong to the restaurant. I showed him a picture or my meal and asked him if he thought it was a good deal, and he tried going around the question and told me that what I ordered was the lunch deal and to him it looks acceptable. Never ordering from here again. I told them they should update their online menu to reflect the current prices and left.
Not sure why the reviews are poor, the service was good and pricing was very fair for the area. Would happily return.Food: 5/5
This is fillet mignon. An image is worth a thousand words. I wish I could give this place zero starts but that’s not an option. They charge 18% tip to everyone, according to the manager. Mind you, we were a large group and I consider myself a very good tipper so 18% is really not enough but tips should match service. The cooker told my niece that it was easier to cook her steak well done when she asked for her steak medium-well. And the waitress told me that my daughter needed to seat with me to be able to have her food on my bill. Very poor customer. It was too much for her to figure that one out. Will never eat here. If you want to eat good steak go to a reputable place.
I rate this restaurant an honest three here's why: The food arrived lukewarm. A lot of people would have rated a1, I am not a vindictive reviewer. The waitress although extremely accommodating did not show up until we were almost finished eating had she come when the food was delivered we all would have sent it back to get it heated. On the positive side the portions were very large the quality of food I just reheated The leftovers in my microwave were very good. The atmosphere outside would have been very good except for an unruly child carrying on with two parents that definitely need lessons in parenting we will go back for the lunch specials very soon and look forward to a much more positive experience it is definitely worth a shot
Totally loved this place. The experience was amazing. Visited during Covid and all safety rules were well followed. Best place in town for Hibachi. Usually has a waitlist on weekends so reservation would be recommended. They don’t have lot of sake varieties surprisingly as seen in other Japanese restaurants but I was satisfied with the one I tried. The grill chef was pretty entertaining too and showcased some amazing skills
Used to love coming to this place regularly. On the website it says they’re open until 10, and it’s posted on their windows. About a week ago a friend and I tried to go at 9pm and they said they were closed. We tried again later in the week, showed up at 8pm and we were turned away told they were closed and the chef left. Very disappointed to have wasted two trips in a week. Sad because the food is amazing and that’s why we tried twice in a week to go.
I stopped in for some sushi. The sushi was good and reasonably priced. But omg the place is dirty. The amount of dust and grease on every bottle on the bar is shameful. I don't know how they past inspection. My advice to the management, CLEANFood: 4/5
The waiter is extremely rude and dismissive! Initially I thought it he was having an off day but this is my 2nd visit since Mother’s Day and he was even worse than Mother’s Day. He snatched the menus out of our hands, was visibly annoyed that I changed my order and dismissed the other person in my party with his hands!!! This place is horrible and the fact that this guy is in the service industry is worrisome
Nice restaurant, convenient location with free parking nearby, pleasant atmosphere and interior decor, clean restrooms. Authentic food in generous portions, the hibachi performance with the fire is entertaining and exciting for the whole family. Great service, very reasonable prices. Good experience overall
