Dr. Jacobsen and her staff at Tomichi were lifesavers for my family!!! We arrived at Taylor Resovoir on July 16 sometime after 5pm. We go here every year and this year we had a new puppy to bring along with the family. Well, the pup had eaten a small rawhide bone and shortly after our pup became very sick. The next day we headed in to Gunnison in hopes of getting our puppy fixed. After being turned down at Gunnison Valley Vet clinic (We were actually asked to leave because the vet thought it sounded like our pup had a virus. They were so rude!!!) Anyways, we walked into Tomichi, and although Dr. Jacobsen and her staff had a full day of booked appts, they managed to squeeze us in between those. They were absolutely the most caring and sweet staff I have ever met. They were concerned and willing to get our pup feeling better. Dr. Jacobsen and 2 of her vet techs who were amazing btw, stayed after hours to perform an endoscopic procedure to our pup. Although not all was what we thought it to be, the staff proved to be phenomenal. They loved and cared for our pup the way we would have at home. Our pup is back to herself and doing so well. It was such a relief to see her playing and being a puppy again. Today, she is happy to be home running around her backyard!!! I wish Dr. Jacobsen and her staff were here in Littleton. They would be my new vet!!!! Thank you so much everyone at Tomichi for treating my family with such compassion and care!

I had literally the best experience with a vet that i have ever had. The vet techs were great, thorough, and extremely well educated. The doctor was awesome, not only way she intelligent, she was so personable and made me feel like a part of their family. I will never go to another vet, and would highly recommend it, as I already have, to all my friends and family.

Been using this vet for 15 years. She probably love's your dog more than you do.

After reaching out of town Dr . Seth was more than helpful, honest, and compassionate with our hound dog Leilah when she unfortunately ran into a stick impaling her side after hours. He did take a few hours to reach us as he lives out of town and made the trek at midnight to give our pup a fighting chance. He did just that, he helped Leilah to the best of his ability and she's currently healing very nicely. The only problem we had is we both get paid on Mondays, this happened on Thursday night and we were assured over and over again we would be able to pay as much as we could when picking her up, but the rest to be paid Monday. They ended up loading our pup in the car and saying they needed full payment before we could leave, orders of out of town Dr Jacobson. Pretty frustrating to worrying about money at a time we could lose our pup and they were very closed off wanting cash or credit in full. Update: After speaking with Dr Jacobson on this subject we have a bit more understanding as to them wanting a full payment although it was pretty upsetting at the time. Since then she has been very helpful, always quick to answer the phone with any questions we may have, offering advice and discounts where available for our misfortune that night as well as being very genuine and passionate with our pup.
