I preferred the old owners. I miss talking to Peter and they would bring things from the city for me to try. The newer owners do have amazing food as well! They are always polite too!

I kept hearing from friends about this sushi place in Saugerties, and how surprisingly good it was. So after about 6 months of living here I though gee, let's see what all the hype is about!  Fast forward 15 minutes into the meal and 13 pan flute songs later,  the food came out. Super fried gyoza, watery mushy shrimps, and what I thought was impossible, weird over salted miso soup, the sushi  itself tasted odd, or off,  not to mention the sashimi ended up as a couple of lone pieces of salmon flopped onto the tray with some plastic leaves in there, was honestly was just a terrible experience all around. Afterwards, we both felt incredibly sick, and not soon after I came down with a terrible flu, so yeah, I wouldn't recommend it.

Great little place. The staff are really nice and the food seems very fresh. Up there the next sushi in the area.
