The other reviews don't make sense to me. Dr. Torkelson has done surgery on my hand and it was so perfect there isn't even a scar. The office does have a lot of patients because the place is so good - so yes, one must be patient sometimes, but as far as the quality of the office and the doctor, it is excellent.

Avoid this doctor and this office at all costs. The doctor doesn't give a darn about you and the staff is incompetent. They refuse to fill out paperwork or call you back when they say they will. They should lose their license.They should be reported to the A.M.A. In fact I think I will. But they will send you to collections in a heartbeat! I mailed them a check and they held on to it and sent me to collections. Even though I had 2 insurances that would have paid the bill.They get an extra $100 when they send you to collections so I guess this is why they do it. DR. needs to pad his wallet. I had 5 other bills for other services, and doctors ,E.R. etc.services at the time of my injury and I had no problem with them, only Dr. Torkelson and his office.Doctor did absolutely nothing for me except charge me huge amount for office visit. No ex-rays, prescription etc.Total waste of my time and money.I would not recommend this doctor or office to my worst enemy.Do yourself a favor and NEVER GO HERE! There are other  good orthopedic doctors in Cheyenne who do care and have a competent staff. AVOID AVOID this office of non caring thieves.
