Great food, good service and lovely ambiance! Not many places I leave, looking forward to going back with other loved ones right away. The bottomless brunch includes a plate of each dish, you don't need to choose. It's very filling! I think I'll ask for smaller portions for next time. Loved: Cucumber dish marinated like raw fish and I don't even like cucumber!?! Sirloin served on a sizzling plate egg was over cooked but steak made up for it Apreas were really tasty Mango sorbet, and typically I don't love sorbet Bread pudding was phenomenal, exactly what I've been looking for in bread pudding for years but never found The bottomless brunch is 40 bucks, if you include alcohol it's 60. They also have coffee and individual drinks. We had reservations on a Saturday at 11am but there were plenty of seats available. Aesthetics inside we're really pleasing. It's right inside a hotel. Nice ambiance overall. The bathrooms are really nice, clean, and have properly closing doors. There is some outdoor seating.
Toro has an intimate, fine dining atmosphere with a Latin flare. From the starters, to the wine, to the main course, to my interactions with the servers, I greatly enjoyed my entire experience here. I think the steak I had here was one of the most perfectly cooked pieces of meat I’ve ever had. I was also reluctant to try the empanadas with the corn filling, however, they ended up being a great option. The price is not cheap but definitely give this place a try if you’re looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion.
My fiancé and I came here for the Valentine’s Day special and we can’t wait to come back for many more meals. Our waiter Steven was amazing and made the whole experience so fun! The food was absolutely incredible and we can’t wait to try more things from the actual menu next time.
Unbelievable place with a great ambiance. Service couldn’t be better. Food is very unique. Sushi is good and the Buffalo skewers are as good as it gets. Outside has a great patio plus there is an amazing fire pit Highly recommend, plates are a bit smaller but that’s good because you have an excuse to try more
Apparently this is one of my new favorites! I tried it there beef sushi roll, which has asparagus, truffle oil, sun-dried tomato, and asparagus. It was different but that’s what I love! We also got their mango ceviche that comes with really good plantain chips. You honestly can’t go wrong with their spicy tequila margarita cocktail, it’s the first on the menu. Also try the spicy cucumber gimlet martini
Located in a very nice upscale area, the decor and environment is very nice. We had the skirt steak, salmon, empanadas and a few drinks. The casual encounter drink comes out in a very IG worthy smokey case. Prices are on the medium to high side but that is expected for the area. Definitely a special night out or treat type of place.Food: 5/5
Fantastic food! Ordered the octopus anticucho as a starter and then the toro bison burger as my main meal. My mother ordered the salmon. All were fantastic and great dinner atmosphere! Beautiful neighborhood as well.
Very nice atmosphere. Full menu after 4pm. Kitchen made an exception for us, we where early. Appetizers are too small but meal was amazing. Really great dinner.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Was entertaining out of town guests for brunch. Waited 8 minutes to be seated, had reservations, restaurant was nearly empty. My eggs Benedict came out nearly raw and my friend's were cold so we sent them back. I asked for my egg to be cooked medium. This is what I got. Not happy. And we waited forever for coffee refills so got it ourselves.
What to say about this place… not a pleasant experience unfortunately. First the pros: the staff was friendly. The presentation of the food was nice, especially the dessert. The lomo saltado was good but we requested it be over fries instead of the rice it comes with, which they accommodated. The cons: We tried a variety of things from the menu and spent around $200 for 2 people. I’ll start with the appetizers. The guacamole was ok, about what you’d expect from any restaurant really. Which is why at $14 I’d say it was not great. I expected something more flavorful and less generic. The caprese salad with burratta was… odd. The entire time we were here I couldnt figure out what flavors they were going for. A lot of the flavors didn’t seem to work well together or maybe it was the execution? Either way… This dish highlighted that point in that there was watermelon in It a balsamic reduction and fennel. There was also a strange sauce that looked tasty, but had an almost fishy taste. The cheese itself was good. We also ordered the lobster Mac and cheese, and the 30 day dry aged ribeye. The lobster Mac hardly contained any lobster, a few pieces about the size of a corn kernel, and what lobster was in there was the very ends of the claws that tends to be quite rubbery and tasteless. I suspect they use the better parts for a different dish. We ordered a truffle fries to replace it, and while the fries themselves were good, they seemed to forget the truffle the waitress happily replaced them and took them off the bill. The ribeye was decent for a $62 dish. It does keep cooking on the skillet while it’s at the table so be sure to order rare. The chimichuri was ok, but the other sauce it came out with I think it was a bbq was nothing special. We got the chocolate bomb for desert and the presentation was novel and entertaining, and the ice cream good. However there were parts of the cake underneath that were extremely crunchy and hard to eat. So final verdict is value is ‘meh’, and there are a lot of good ideas, but the flavors and quality just don’t seem to be working… yet.
