I have been coming to this dental center for over a decade and I always receive quality and timely service. I appreciate the flexibility with scheduling as I am often pressed for time. The clean and friendly atmosphere makes this place welcoming!

I have had two really bad experiences here.

The first time, I went to see the dentist because I thought my top permanent retainer had broken off. He told me it was fine. I noticed about a week later that my teeth were shifting, and I had a nagging suspicion he was wrong since I could move the wire... So I went for a second opinion. It was broken, I had to have new retainers made, and my teeth shifted while that all happened. So essentially his mistake cost me a couple grand in orthodontic losses.

I thought maybe this was a fluke, so I went back for a teeth cleaning about a month ago. Hands down THE WORST and MOST PAINFUL cleaning I have ever had. I literally had to stop the hygienist and tell her to be more careful. She was scraping my gums so badly they were all bleeding and they hurt afterwards for a few days. I felt so bad that a little girl was getting her teeth cleaned by her right afterwards... This is why kids hate the dentist.

I wasn't going to write a review, but then I got a bill for their services in the mail. My insurance (which is comprehensive) doesn't even cover it all (cause it's hella expensive!), so now I have to pay out of pocket for the worst dental experience I've ever had. 

I would not recommend going here. I have been to a number of dentists (at least 8, because I move a lot) and this is by far the worst one I've been to.

Staff are so friendly.expensive.doctor is not able to find out patient is convient for treatment or not.he just do him self.that's it.......

I am new to this place and some friends referred me to Dr. Rafie. It was a very pleasant visit to Torrance Dental Centre. I loved it. Staff is very polite and gentle. Ms. Rebecca and Mr Rafie took care of me. Thanks to them and front office staff. I would like to refer and visit again Thanks.

Expensive is an understatement! They will try to rip you off even with insurance.  My four year old needed treatment for cavities and they wanted $75.00 per tooth out of pocket for silver filling! I called the insurance company and they said the out of pocket should be $6.00 for silver filling.  11 cavities x $75 = $825.00 vs. 11 cavities x $6.00 = $66.00. They are completely insane!  Then to add insult to injury, a DDS by the name of Kamran Rafie writes a letter to my insurance company to transfer my four year old out of their office as primary.  What a joke!  Be careful and ask questions and know your insurance co-pay amount if you decide to go here.  Good luck!
