After over 40 years of business in Redding, this restaurant stands out for it's authenticity in food taste. The restrooms leave something to be desired, but the service and food was fantastic, the water even had the nontraditional crumpled ice you'd expect to see at Mod Pizza. The chips and salsa could have used a bit improvement, but it did, nevertheless, taste pretty homemade. All in all, it is a great joint for a family or single person to enjoy during lunch or dinner. I give it a 4 out of 5.

I have went to tortilla flats for over 25 years now. Their food is very good. I go there ever year on my birthday. And then some. Great food. Good vibes. Check it out.

I should have known better when I walked into this place but I didn't read the reviews until after I ordered my food. If the kitchen looks anything like the dining area I would be worried. It looks and feels dirty. 

They brought me out a bowl of smashed ships scraped up from the bottom of the chip tray and disgusting salsa obviously from a bulk can. There's no way in hell this salsa is homemade. 

Next I get my two tacos and bite sized portions of rice and beans. The tacos had barely any chicken at all and the taste was bland. Extremely bland boiled shredded chicken. 

I'm glad the portions were small because I didn't trust the food nor did I want to eat it. The meal was worth maybe $5 so that's what I left and walked out. I'm sorry lady but you need rethink your business.

Food covered in tomatoes. I don't like tomatoes. Bland flavor. Waiting 20 minutes for my check. 1 waitress having more fun soliziing. Have to ask for my check

Terrible service. We came in asked for a table for 6 she seated us at a dirty table for 4 and walk off. I went up front to get something to clean table and was acknowledged but ignored by 4 employees. Needless to say we left.  They weren't even that busy. Just rude.
