I have been going to the Town Center Family Medicine for close to 20 years, starting with Dr Dolcich and following them through four or five different locations around Reston. I can honestly say I haven’t had the negative experiences some people have written about. Dr Tran is my GP but I’ve also often seen Nurse Practitioner Toni Nelson over the years and they are both very good, concerned, and compassionate. Neither one brings a laptop into the exam room with them, they ask questions and care about what you have to say. As to the receptionists I have always found them to be courteous and helpful, which can’t be said for other medical offices I go to. So nothing to complain about, I feel very lucky to be their patient.

I tried this practice for the first time recently. The facility looks nice and the receptionist was pleasant. Nurse Steve was excellent. Dr. Bowers - meh. If you do try this practice I'd suggestion you try one of the other doctors in the office.

Hidden Gem! Went for a physical and was promptly accommodated at the time of my appointment. Dr. Tran was awesome and seemed like he genuinely cared about me as a person. Entire staff, from clerical to clinical, was welcoming and truly professional. Highly recommended

Negative 5 would be the right rating for these guys. This business is highly unethical. They have been flagging my honest review because it is negative. My review was not showing up in Yelp as well so I decided to investigate. It turns out the somehow they got Yelp to filter out my review along with scores of other 1 star reviews. I highly recommend you going to their Yelp page and clicking on page 2 and then clicking on "Not Recommended Reviews" You will see all of the 1 star reviews that this business has been falsely flagging with Yelp. This alone should tell you something about the ethics of this business. My general thought about this practice: Absolutely the worst place to go to for your medical needs. Please do yourself a favor and please find someone who will care about you, your needs, and respect you as a patient. Here are some words I would describe this BUSINESS with, after all they make it so so obvious, that too a poorly run business. Worthless, disrespectful, uncaring (understatement), unprofessional (understatement), rude, arrogant, careless, offensive, and completely clueless. Very poorly run practice. I have seen better service and respect by doctors in third world countries in my international trips. The office manager is a rude, arrogant, airhead. This individual deserves to be fired from her position immediately. It is of no wonder that the rest of the staff treats you like dirt, they know the office manager disrespects customers, and so what can really happen if they do it too. Office manager has no experience but somehow has been given the position and responsibility to manage an entire office here. The nurse Steve has no manners and no sense of professionalism whatsoever. As an example, he told me very rudely, "You chose the diet you are on and it is my fault", I told him it's none of his business what diet I choose to be on. Then he tells me that "I am going to tell you" again extremely rudely, I stopped him right then and there and told him I am the customer, I am paying his bills, he isn't paying mine, so he doesn't get to tell me anything. The language and tone that the office manager Janet and her apprentice in unprofessional behavior use are extremely offensive and rude at a minimum. As for the doctor, Dr. Dolcich, although he was okay during the visit, never cared to look at my inquiry as soon as I stepped out of the office. Dr. Dolcich, just like the others here doesn't give a damn about the patients when once they leave the office. There are no checks and balances at this place. Nobody cares here. They will screw you if you have a problem. No such thing as an ETA for a return call. First the ETA for my call was at the end of the day, then it became 24 hours, then it became 48 hours. They will go to any length to not take the blame or responsibility. It is always the patients fault. All you hear is we are very busy. I can tell you that I am working for a far far far far far far far far bigger organization than these guys and I still manage to do a great job, on time and that too a very very important one. Don't tell me YOU are busy. You don't KNOW busy. You don't know SQUAT about doing your jobs. I have decided to move on. There are a bazillion General Practitioners in this area. Dime a dozen. I will happily take mine and my family's business somewhere else. Unbelievably, I was supposed to receive a phone call from the Regional Practice Manager to discuss my experience but never received a call. Look, they don't give a damn. Go somewhere else. These places deserves to go out of business. Dime a dozen, that is what you are worth TCFM. Not so much as even an apology from management.
