Poor. I know it's impossible for a small hardware to have everything. And I gave the store a true benefit of the doubt. I have been there 8-10 times, they had what I needed once. I understand that there should be a premium for convenience, but the store will price itself out of business, just like the frozen yogurt (yo pop) place did. The markup is way too steep. So in conclusion, Lowe's it is. I would like to help a small store, but it is a waste of time to even check if they have "it."
I gave it three stars in the hopes they can make some changes. It's hard to run a small hardware store, when you are not handy yourself. You have to be a well-rounded handy man to be able to run a whole hardware store. You can't expect a customer to take the opinion of someone who obviously has no experience in repairing/maintaining things seriously. Deer-in-the-headlights does not sell things.

During an ice storm that occurred January 23, 2016, my husband to our 100 lb propane cylinder to town and country hardware at 210 hwy to have it filled. He was charged $72 to fill this tank that was not completely empty mind you. When we lost power due to ice and started getting low on gas we checked prices at another place and they fill tanks all day everyday for $35 dollars for 100 lb tanks and $15 for smaller tanks. Needless to say town and country are raping people's pocketbook. Don't see them getting my hard earned money ever again.

It is not a Lowe's or other Big Box store.  It is a bit small but has a good variety-at least one, of most things.   The people there are nice and as helpful as they can be.   Do they know *everything*?   Nope but, if you have some clue about what you need or are trying to accomplish they can get you there.   If you don't, perhaps Home Improvement is really not for you-one has to be smarter than their Hammer.

Do not expect to walk in a buy 200 sheets of drywall or 30' support tresses but if you need some screws, paint, brushes or a few yard items it is a decent place to go.   They offer free popcorn too.

Prices are ok, not bad, maybe not the best out there but it won't break your wallet to spend .50 more on a hammer than $5 on gas to drive somewhere else to save that .50.   Plus they give actual reward card benefits versus the Lowes reward card which simply tracks what you buy for advertising targeting.
