Had a good stay at Town & Country Alex was wonderful kept an eye on the park and we never felt like if something would happen he wouldn't be around that

Great price $29 with Good Sam, cash or check only. Nice level RV spots, hard gravel pack. Well kept grounds. Good water pressure, clean water, sewer at site. Owner was accommodating with room to park our utility trailer and second truck by his office. Quiet place. Bathrooms and showers a bit dated. Laundry room big but machines are also a bit dated. A few long term residents with run down campers but not too shabby. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. Great place to stop for the night. Note: look at the satellite image before you come. It is true as other reviewer stated you may be asked to pull around and navigate through the buildings. However, I said no and had left myself a plan to pull forward and told him thanks but I’ll just pull forward. He said he didn’t think I’d make it, and I said ok thanks... and went and did it my way pulling forward instead. Didn’t hear from him again and had a wonderful night. I agree he may be a bit gruff; but let’s face it, he’s had a long life, is a war vet from another era. Alex was accommodating, nice enough, not a problem for us, and the campground is a great quiet safe place for a nights sleep.

I do not recommend this place. Wish we had traveled another mile down the road to Hinton Park RV campground. As other reviewers stated, the owner Alex watches your every move. You have to navigate your camper between 2 storage buildings to get to your site. We hit the corner of the left one ... damaging both our camper & the building. My husband offered multiple times to exchange insurance immediately but Alex kept saying they'd do it in the morning. We settled in for the night then got a visit from local police. After that Alex "attempted" to find insurance policy without any luck. So we agreed "once again" to meet in a.m.  Soon after settling back in camper he came knocking to say he found it. The next morning we discovered he was not taking any steps to protect the items in storage unit exposed to the rain so we used our own tarp to attempt to cover hole (he apparently has a maintenance guy that works when he wants). Yes the rate of $28 was good for a level pull-thru site and park appears clean but owner is difficult and demeaning. Recommend finding an alternate RV park.

Great little place to stop. Called ahead. Owner waited for us to show at 1130 pm. We have stopped all over and this is a good one.  Can't beat 28 a night. It's a cash or check only! Wasn't told that prior to driving in. Not really a big deal.

Park was clean and well shaded..lot easy to get in and out of... office was very polite  and helpful. Cheap rates.. will stay here again
