Presentation here is terrible. But I still love eating here. They have an interesting menu and the espresso is really good. I love the salmon canapés and the Reuben. Those are the best items to get in my opinion, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. As far as location goes, it looks super out of place and it’s somewhat difficult to get to. But it’s worth it.

The food was good, that is, when (or if) it arrived... Times are approximate: 12 pm - Arrived and seated outside 12:10- Water served 12:20 - As drink orders were being taken, we were, informed that they were not serving lunch today (basically extending weekend breakfast hours). Some of us need more time to change what we would order. (It would have been helpful to know this when we were being seated.) 12:25 - My beer (which I wouldn't have initially ordered if I knew I was going to eat breakfast food) and the hot chocolate arrive, but not the ice tea. 12:30 - Orders taken 12:55 - Most food arrives (3/4 of the Weekend Special doesn't arrive), side dish of another order is incorrect and taken back. (While waiting for food someone from our table had to get up and get the pitcher of ice water on a side table to refill our glasses. This was the only time they were refilled.) 1:00 Corrected side dish arrives 1:10 Meal is eaten 1:25 Check finally arrives. We were charged for the ice tea that never came, plus 3/4 of the Weekend Special that never arrived, and we were charged a la carte for the missing items because it wasn't the weekend, not recognizing the fact that they changed the food service to weekend breakfast hours; strange...) We notify the waiter of their error. 1:30 Paid the corrected check and left.

Probably the best omelette I've had in my entire life. I didn't know ham could be that succulent. Excellent food and service. It's own private little corner just off campus.

One of the best 2-3 places in town. Fantastic food, great service and options for all budgets. Have been over 10 times and never had a bad experience. Thumbs up!

My husband and I have eaten Sunday brunch at Town and Gown nearly every weekend for the last 2 or so years and we love it! We've just moved an hour away and will likely still go back occasionally. Always great food and friendly staff. We've really never had a bad meal there. We'll miss you guys!
