This is the official Town of South Hill, VA Facebook page. This page is not monitored 24 hours a day.

Social media platforms utilized by the Town for its posted information shall not contain any of the following, and the Town reserves the right to remove/delete comments containing any of the following elements as soon as possible:
a. Comments that are not topically related to the particular posting being commented upon;
b. Profane language or content;
c. Content that promotes, fosters, or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, national origin, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression;

South Hill is located in Mecklenburg County in south central Virginia, near the NC state line, halfway between Richmond, VA and Raleigh, NC. It is easily accessible by an excellent highway network consisting of Interstate 85, Route 58, US Highway 1 and Highway 47.

Lake Gaston and Buggs Island Lake/Kerr Reservoir, large reservoirs popular with boaters and fishermen, are a short distance to the southwest. South Hill has a lot to offer for a day or a lifetime.
