I spent almost a week here in January after a flight from a 3 month trip to Italy. After landing Boston and due to a late flight I had to stay one night in the Hilton near the airport terminals (room smelled like smoke) and overpriced. The hotel for the price was terrible. I was coming to Camden (a beautiful little gem) on my way to Islesboro Island and I decided to stay for 5 or 6 days (to rest) at Towne Motel. It was snowing and it was like a Rockwell painting and I was so glad I did. The owners were very gracious and kind. My room was spotless and clean. Their wifi was great, there was a small refrigerator and a Kourig coffee maker and every night they left a basket of goodies for breakfast (muffins, juice, fruit and yogurt). Everything was so close (a 10 minute walk) as I needed to restock, RiteAid pharmacy, a grocery store (French and Braun) and many little restaurants and pubs. I'll be returning in a month and I will stop here to stay again on my way back to Arizona and I'll wander the streets and explore.... Thank you

Great place just a couple minute walk to all the shops downtown camden beautiful area to spend the weekend well worth the drive

Location is perfect. Walk to everything. Yummy baked goods for breakfast. Can't beat the price.
