Sports jackets, grey-hairs and aspiring socialites dapple this rustic themed establishment of fine cuisine. The outside deck gets filled with after work happy hour groups in the early warm evenings. The food is good, but sometimes their flavor pairings allow one item to mute another in a plate (example - pork chops stuffed with Italian sausage). The cocktails are top notch and so is the service.

Love the service here. Sat at the bar for lunch and the bartender was nice, made our drinks fast and very well. 

The steak bites and steak salad were both very good. Extremely tender steak!

What a great restaurant: part comfort food, part fusion of different cuisines but always delicious and wonderful portions. The food is of the highest quality and therefore the prices mirror this but it's great for special occasions. Good for the whole family, the waiters are really friendly and fast, and there is a great bar staff. There is a parking lot but it is small. I don't think they take reservations so earlier the better. When the weather is good there is plenty of outdoor seating as well.

I've had great meals here for many years. Inventive, satisfying food. Fried calamari is a favorite.  Higher price range entrees  $20-30

One of my favs in Berkeley. Meats are tender and delicious but the best is its cozy and elegant atmosphere. Traditional dishes, nothing super trendy and innovator. It is one of the few restaurants were you don't need a reservation to get a table and it is so romantic.... You will not get disappointed.
