A fast, sushi takeout place that offers great meal combos. The portions are hearty for their main meals and it had good flavor, but their sushi rolls are lacking. We ordered the leopard roll and it fell apart much too easily. While it did have good flavor, they just weren't rolled properly. I did appreciate that they take dietary restrictions into account and were able to remove cashew nuts from the sushi roll for my friend's allergy.  They are also closed for indoor dining and I hated the fact that everything was provided in to-go containers. The dining area is the patio and they also have a few tables set up in the parking lot.  Didn't order their boba and milk tea, but it appeared rather popular as many people came just for that.  Dietary restrictions: They were able to take away the cashew nuts from the sushi rolls.

This restaurant is a gem. Their fried chicken & oysters are to die for. The geisha roll is also a fantastic vegetarian roll.  I also got their lemon mango ice tea, and the syrup is homemade with organic fruits. 10/10 would recommend.  We traveled ~40mins just to try this place, and was well worth the drive. Definitely worth a detour, I'll come back whenever I'm in San Jose or SF again!

Great place for a quick bite! We ordered three teas. The boba was perfectly soft and chewy, fruit teas tasted fresh with actual pieces of fruit, and we loved how they offered non-dairy milks! The sushi was incredible and we highly recommend the Takara roll. Customer service was excellent: quick and really helpful : Definitely will stop by again!

Great outdoor dining area and safety precautions when ordering like dividers and contactless payment and pickup. With the quick service, I felt like my food was prioritized. They make the sushi and boba pairing work so well! I’ll definitely drop by again.

Hands down best sushi in Santa Cruz. Takara in Capitola was always my favorite until they closed, but luckily Takara owners opened Toya Sushi!! Dreams really do come true. Great sushi and bobba teas, so glad they're here!

Omg the fried chicken came with the most Amazing dipping sauce!! The bowl was a teriyaki chicken... so good!! Everything was amazing!!!

Probably the top 3 worst sushi I've had in my life.  Sushi rice was extremely terribly made. Way too sour and doesn't even stick to each other, crumbles apart.  Fish - not fresh at all  Spam musubi had a fat piece of spam which got me excited but the sushi rice they used with it ruined it.  Unless I hit a very bad one off day or that they have some serious quality control issues... Makes me wonder about the legitimacy of all the stellar 5 star reviews.

Ate hear for the 1st time today and it was DELICIOUS!!! The sushi rolls are amazing and the boba tea was equally as great. Our new favorite sushi place in Santa Cruz.

Never been here before despite coming to Santa Cruz so often it's become a habit, so for my first time, I'd say I enjoyed it thoroughly !  Loved the fried chicken, and the sauce that came with it was absolutely delicious! Corey was super helpful and fun, and the strawberry slush can come with little heart shaped pieces along with popping strawberry boba. It was so cute and yummy!
